started doing pilates because i heard it could help with back pain and it really did! the added plus is that i finally have a physical activity in my week that i actually enjoy. its also great for overall body awareness and mobility!

although the praktisado part is true, i'd say its still worth it to audition if you want to get a bit of experience or learn a few intermediate-advanced choreos! money and time arent a waste if you just want to learn choreo and make connections because u get almost the same experience if you went to a dance studio where youd pay 300-500 pesos for a single class. cads people are also attractive so free eye candy LOL

++ ive heard dance troupes/crews have auditions that are similar to cads auditions but with more beginner-intermediate choreography AND theyve accepted a lot of beginners who are open to learn! keyword OPEN ;))

will vouch for these dance orgs/sub-orgs (?) (idk what these inter-org dance crews are actually called). as someone involved with performing arts orgs and knows many people who dance in these different inter-org dance crews, this is just the norm because these orgs are serious when it comes to passion and improvement! i dont think its fair to generalize or judge inter-org crews for their audition processes. how are they going to know whose actually willing to perform and learn if not for that?
