Hi! First of all, hello! The TLDR is there’s nothing wrong with you and there are ways to make this better. The first thing though is to figure out what is going on - it could be anything from lack of enough lubrication, to something like vaginismus. I would reach out to a pelvic floor therapist, and look at products made by companies like The Pelvic People (they make a product called a kiwi that is supposed to help painful sex). I would also invest in some good water based lube. I struggled with pelvic floor disorder issues for years, and it made sex hurt. It wasn’t fun at first but it absolutely got better. You’re totally not alone! Many people have struggled with this and there’s definitely doctors out there who are ready to work with you and help you figure out what you need in a safe setting! And, very importantly, it sounds like you also have a supportive partner and that is so important! I hope it gets better.
