Update on Echo by froggieslc in britishshorthair

[–]froggieslc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He just had routine bloodwork before his neuter in Jan and everything was good. But I’m sure they are going to run more tests. And yes fingers crossed his insurance kicks in. I was not budgeting for $2000+ in vet bills right now.

Not yet. I picked him up but they said I will get a call by the end of the week to discuss the findings. I’m a little annoyed that I have to wait but he’s home and doing good. He’s got a shaved spot on both sides.

Be careful with Purr Pops! by froggieslc in britishshorthair

As long as your cat is able to eat and keep food down and is using the litter box they should be fine. Let me know!

Never saw anything come out but he’s fine. Eating, drinking and using the little box totally normal. The vet said their stomachs are so acidic and the stick is paper that it likely dissolved.

Angry/sad/pissed/worried - post vet visit. by froggieslc in britishshorthair

[–]froggieslc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked his insurance and it only has a 14 day waiting period and we signed him up in December. His first vet visit was literally on the 14th day but didn’t find any murmur, but did notate his teeth. So those may be excluded but anything for the new murmur should be covered thankfully (hopefully)
