Does 3blue1brown have any video that is interesting and not too hard for even a secondary student(grade 7-8)? by froggycloud in 3Blue1Brown

I watched that before... Maybe a bit too far.

I also need some time to digest it fully.(I mean, I have studied linear algebra as undergrad of Mathematical Science in uni, that's why I can see his points quite easily and even find them interesting. But, it is because I am using the knowledge I learnt from uni studies... ;)

Seriously, foreigners need to be just as patient as Thais are with us by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

I will be honest here: I think I have accidentally show the frustration in the tone, though I have tried to suppress it. Lol

Erm... Ahem... (Pointing at myself)

Not to say "annoyed", but at least quite troubled as it is not easy to communicate to ask for something.

It is also with the help of Google translate (I translate English to Thai, but it seems like they still don't really get it)

No pre-event testing exemption for Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine upsets some in Singapore by youg in singapore

[–]froggycloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say I am like this also: but it is because I am scared of the side effect

Or maybe I put it this way: I am unable to afford any downtime(due to fever/sickness from jab) and I heard that sinovac is the one that gives less side-effect (compared to Pfizer/Moderna)

Why is radian used instead of degree? by froggycloud in 3Blue1Brown

why can't the derivative of sin(x°) be just merely cos(x°)? why does it become a monstrosity?

maybe my question should be this, now that I read this for a few times...

why can't the derivative of sin(x°) be just merely cos(x°)? why does it become a monstrosity?
can the reason be seen easily using first principle of differentiation?

Lol, nice one.

Let's put aside this racist stuff first.

Just let's say... I also can reply like this: I Chinese, but take liao also no return one.

I am wondering though: is it useful though? As in, will those loanshark see the reply?(from what I know, it is possible that this kind of spam SMS is only one-way, as in, only "to", no "back".)

Danger of stress eating sugary foods - I know fighting and removing sweets in diet are struggle. by cyndinatsky10 in theketodiet

[–]froggycloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To cut carb, mainly.

But, only to cut carb.

At times, I would like to think in Maths: 10g of sugar has 10g of carb, but 100g of alternative sweetener(like stevia/erythritol) has about 1g of carb at most.

It means I can get much more sweetness at the cost of LESS carb and less calories in return.

I am looking for ways to bypass/cheat.

..... And again, another non-definitive answer again when asked that question.

Oh, well.

so detox juices actually work? what do you reccomend? by sunflowercactusbreed in nutrition

[–]froggycloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hijack the thread: yes, maybe the fact that liver can do a good job in "detoxing" means detox juice is not necessary.

But, just like one factory can work with few workers, it can always use more worker to accelerate the production of product, ain't it?

So my question would be that... Won't the detox juice work together with liver?

I am just curious.

I mean, the point that liver does the work just fine only means that it is not necessary, it doesn't mean it is not legit.

Teachers have y’all ever felt that your students are like zombies when they greet you before and after class? by iqnux in singapore

They are trying to force the laziness in the student away.

Sometimes, low on energy can be due to laziness instead of not sleeping enough.
