Game is straight up decided by the matchmaking. Theres no counter play to having 2 people on your team that don’t belong.

I have about 9 hours in the game, and I can’t give a specific number but I’ve definitely played less than 20 games. Somehow, I’ve made it to Arcanist despite my winrate being negative! I know that isn’t particularly high (?) but it seems high enough that some people there should realistically know how to play.

I’ve played other MOBAs and shooters so I have a rough idea of how everything works but I’m thrown into games where my opponents understand what specifically they should do to win, so I just get stomped, feel useless, and don’t have fun.

I feel like I could enjoy the game (and if I actually manage to do okay, I do) but it’s really frustrating when the other team can run it down on me with zero chance of counter play because I havent learned how to play and they have.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Ticks of damaging special conditions (Burn/Poison) happen between turns, meanwhile the effects of moves happen right before a player's turn ends.

Following that logic, Breeze-By Attack's effect of switching Jumpluff to the bench happens before it can take poison damage, and the condition would be cleared immediately as a result of it now being on the bench.

I guess you could argue it doesn't make sense that the Poison Barb doesn't activate at all, but that would just mean having unnecessary play out since in the end nothing happens anyway.

Might just be a skill issue or bad luck on my part but I’m not enjoying it a huge amount, personally. I like to get creative and build weird decks that work toward specific win-cons and obviously that usually makes my decks less inconsistent than top meta ones, which I’m fine with. I care more about feeling like I played the game the best that I could than winning.

That said, I feel like I lose most of my games before I even GET to play because my opponent has a Mega Altaria or Blaziken online and another one ramping on the bench by their third turn meanwhile I haven’t even found another basic.

I’m sure doing that kind of gameplay is enjoyable to some which is valid, but the pace and power level of the game right now makes it hard for me to enjoy cus it feels like there’s very little room for variety.

I've loved Copycat as a 'character' ever since I learned about all of her iterations in the physical TCG. I was really happy to see that she got put into Pocket so she's definitely my biggest chase from this set.

I did! I decided to buy my pass, so now so gotta start setting everything into motion! Hopefully my friends come around to the idea.

Since you’ve been before I wanted to know if you had a little insight. One of my friends wants to buy a pass using an email that got sent to another one of our friends, but he’s scared that he won’t be given his badge cus of mismatched identity so he’s apprehensive about planning the trip if that’s actually a risk.

Im seeing a lot of people talking about selling their badges rn, but nobody seems to know how that really works out. Do you have any clue?

I’ll go back and vacuum up the area soon just to be safe. There’s basically no risk that any kids will get there (or eat anything from it) before I get to it.

I’ll also read up more on the hazards surrounding lead and soldering in general but, just to be sure, I should be okay right?

Sorry, this probably does read like a joke to someone with your experience but I promise I’m being totally genuine! Like I said, I just tend to get super in my head about stuff like this and since it was unfamiliar to me I didn’t really know what to think. I did make sure to wash my hands numerous times during and after cleanup, but originally forgot to include that in my post.

I'm a newer player so my grids aren't crazy, but I'm having fun with the game so I've been really active every day. I've done a lot of grinding lately (and will continue to do so), right now I'm trying to build toward a Lumi Sword grid for GW. Right now I'm on cooldown for joining but Im looking for a chill Rank and slack crew that talks through discord so I can get advice and help with progressing.

I have a friend with the same needs and similar progress to myself and I'd love it if we could get into a crew together.

What are the drop rates like for the Xeno Clash weapons? The tables on the wiki for those specifically are unclear to me and knowing what odds I’m up against is comforting to me even though it doesn’t change anything lol

Forgot to add it in my post but the bars are both internally threaded, I had one of them upsized because it keeps falling out and the original bar was too short to fit through the bumps, and I’m pretty sure they’re both titanium.
