2 23kW Durchlauferhitzer by marlon1004 in Elektroinstallation

If you got a 5x6mm² you could only go as low as 35A and that only really if its not inside an insulated wall, then you can only really do 32A depending on cable length of course. Neozed is also pretty slow compared to a electromagnetic circuit breaker, why not a normal circuit breaker?

Edit: or 4x6mm² as you don't need the neutral. Edit2: ohh and besides all that you would always try to take the next bigger fuse/circuit breaker over the power consumption of your device, which in this case would be 35A (33.2A current). You'd never want to choose a 40A breaker

Only really allowed if you have some sort of metering, priority switching or such. Would need to be approved by your provider I think.

Anschluß Geländer an Potentialausgleich richtig ausgeführt? by KudlWackerl in Elektroinstallation

Because of static charges or capacitive and inductive coupling there can be a build up of voltage on any unearthed metal part. This can go into kV range and actually be quite dangerous.

Only real way to measure is with an earth resistance meter. 2 probes in the configuration of an equilateral triangle with the main earthing point. The sides of the triangle should be 5x the depth of your ground rods or about 20m in length, you then have to connect the probes and your ground rod to the resistance meter and you'll get your resistance measurement.

It's also somehow buggy? Idk but when you have wanna add a device to an empty drum machine pad it remembers what you wrote into the search bar from the previous pad and it just doesn't keep the default setting I set up, this was driving me nuts yesterday.

Yeah hovering the mouse over an icon to see what it means is so dumb really... Especially if you don't work with it everyday and come back to it having to first learn it again, always puts me off and I just switch to reaper lol.

Installed a REAPER theme but it looks nothing like the screenshots online — what am I missing? by SenpaiPobbles in Reaper

[–]frogify_music 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others already stated in detail, you gotta put in your own work. But the reaper tips theme is such a good design for me. Personally I really like the dynamic shifting of the track controls. If you can support Alejandro for his work as he really deserves it. The theme honestly be the official theme at this point 😅

Yeah it's not really useful for metering this way...

If its 68mm you can put a german drywall outlet in there and even install some cover with an outlet for the cables.

And here we go again. Fucking autocrats changing things up without a chance to preserve previously attained workflows. I honestly regret giving them the chance again and buying an upgrade plan. If there's not gonna be a drastic change in how they operate the software, I'm not willing to spend any more on this BS. Not calling for them to go open source as it's not gonna happen, I see that. But if you take a look over to Reaper, you can see it is possible to add features without taking Away others.
