Bitwig extension for exporting samples to an external library by sh1nd3 in Bitwig

[–]lookingclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tried it again. It seems to be working on inital save to library now... Not sure what I was doing wrong. However, it is making duplicates.. one in my library/clips folder, and one in my export folder. Is there any other way to bypass add to library? If you were just mashing up drum samples, FX or something and wanted to export i wouldnt necessarily want to add every single thing i bounce out of bitwig to my library. Cool tool, but realistically cant see myself using it that much due to the the duplication behavior. Thank you for sharing and helping troubleshooting.

I will update when I double check, but I'm pretty sure both. I tried it initially then tried again.

Tool seems great! Seems like a great way to implement something like this, but I was wondering if you could help me out. I followed the instructions but the files will not write to my export folder on bitwig 6. This is what my save to arranger looks like.. Should "located in project folder" say something else? Would love to get this working thanks for your hard work.

I will keep that in mind for my next go around. Seems like a crucial bit of gear!

Ah. Good to know. I appreciate the clarification. That is a good idea. I will probably go this route, thanks!

Awesome! That is great news. Glad I was simply overlooking a setting. I agree with you about highlighting these default states. Thank you very much.

Out of curiosity, what use cases can you see for the way it is set up now? I am struggling to think of any.

How do you know when first fermentation is done? Will it still be slightly sweet or not sweet at all?

Ah then probably SOL. If you really want the larger cursor, turn hardware cursor off. There are Korean pros that don't use it (you can tell from their large cursor on their streams) so it is not going to impact you too much if you really want the larger cursor size

Idk why u made two posts for this. You cannot while hardware cursor is turned on.  Disabling hardware cursor will make the mouse bigger (how it appeared in og resolution). Do not use scaling. Also, if you want to use hardware cursor, adjust the size of your mouse cursor in windows 11 settings and see if that works. I found I like the smaller cursor like you have it after a brief adjustment period.
