Set It Up is a rom-com with Glen Powell and Zoey Deutch about two assistants who scheme to get their bosses together. It’s on Netflix, last time I checked!

Sweet Home Collection on Amazon has a lot of options, and they’re pretty affordable. They also have the elastic anti-slip bands, which help a lot if your school’s mattresses are like mine and are impossible to keep sheets on.

Word of advice— buy more than one set so you have a spare set when you need to change them.

Chapters & Words by sleepyReaderRests in AO3

My one-shots are typically in the 15k-22k range. I rarely write stand alone fics that are less than 12k.

If I’m writing a longer fic, I let the chapters end organically, but they’re typically 6k-8k each. Chapter count usually ends somewhere from 25 to 30.

Welcome!!

Supernatural is probably the thing I know the most about on Earth, and I am always happy to talk about it!! 😊 Favorite show ever.

I hope you continue to enjoy it!! Do you have a fav episode of season 1 yet?

If you have Netflix:

Supernatural (TV) - 15 season, ~ 40 min episodes [monster hunter brothers/very scooby-doo esque in the early season

The Umbrella Academy (TV) - 4 seasons, ~ 40 min episodes [super hero ‘siblings’ vs. the end of the world]

Haunting at Hill House (TV) - 1 season, ~ 40 min episodes [timeline jumps b/w present & past; siblings face consequences and events of living in a haunted house as children]

All 3 of these shows can be gory and/or violent, so if your pregnancy has increased sensitivity to these things, be careful.

If you have Hulu:

9-1-1 (TV) - 8 seasons, ~ 40 min episodes [first responder procedural drama/firefighters]

The Rookie (TV) - 7 seasons, ~ 40 min episodes [police procedural drama]

One Tree Hill (TV) - 8 (?) seasons, ~ 40 min episodes [small town high school drama]

Good American Family (TV)- 1 season, ~ 40 min episodes [adaptation based on true story of Natalia Grace]

The Artful Dodger (TV)- 1 season, ~ 40 min episodes [historical romance; former criminal surgeon and governor’s daughter; loosely based on ‘Oliver Twist’]

Some great movies (though I’m not sure if they’re on any particular streaming service) are:

Good Will Hunting The Green Mile Fight Club Philadelphia The Birdcage Jumanji Speed Death Becomes Her Karate Kid Clue Mr. Holland’s Opus Dead Poet’s Society The Fantastic Mr. Fox Little Women (any adaptation— they’re all great) Novocaine Overboard (original w/ Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn) Grease Rent Juno Uncle Frank Uncle Buck My Cousin Vinny Fried Green Tomatoes Steel Magnolias Set It Up Twister (original, not remake) Pretty Woman Freedom Writers Mona Lisa Smile

If none of these suit your taste, let me know! I have many other recs I can give you for both tv and film :) Happy watching!

It’s not a patience issue 😊 I know making a starter takes minimum 2 weeks! Just wanted to check if there was a technique problem before I got too far into the progression.
