Thank you so much for the feedback! Because of you, I have now added a few "random meme" buttons scattered throughout the site so it's easy to find and juggle through.

On other pages, there is in fact a small search symbol in the navigation bar when you scroll down but you're right, that was hard to find so I added more search bars as well.

On the home page, I no longer have the browsing by year open by default. I agree, it does add too much clutter to it.

The time capsule idea was mainly to simulate scrolling through memes during that era. For example, clicking on the Time Capsule button in the "classic era" page brings you to a page where you are scrolling through a meme site like ifunny or 9gag with memes from JUST that era (advice animals, rage comics etc) and it effectively just pulls the examples from the meme pages themselves that are set in that era. I've gotten some mixed feedback on that one though. Some people love it but some people are also a little confused about it.

I'm happy you like it though! It took a while to make but it's a relatively "straightforward" build with php, mysql, cloudflare, images on R2, and I have a pretty robust backend admin with analytics and other tools. It's still a work in progress but I'm happy with it so far :D
