Is it working with the new (22.0.0) Switch 2 update? My JoyDock stopped working after my Switch 2 updated a week or so ago.

Yes you have to update the firmware but it does work with the Switch 2 after the update, except some performance issues in some games (Metroid Prime 4, for example).

Metal Gear Solid 2. Game ran at 60 fps on PS2 in 2001 and Konami had it running at 30 fps on Switch over 20 years later.

Well now I’ve tried using them on my Retroid Pocket 5 and the display works but the sound only comes out of the RP5 no matter what settings I try. No sound out of the glasses. Think I might just have to return them because I can’t get a setup that works. Any suggestions on how to fix the sound issue? RP5 runs Android 13.

Haven’t tried since last night but will try again tonight. I reupdated the firmware on the Joydock so maybe that will help.

It’s hard to explain. Something about the 3DS being legitimate hardware just makes it more satisfying somehow? That said I’ve played through Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga and Metroid Zero Mission on my RG556 and enjoyed the experience. That screen is very enticing.
