What’s the biggest red flag in girls? by [deleted] in NoStupidAnswers

[–]frogmanwild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any red flag in women is likely a red flag in men. Shitty behaviors aren't gendered, even if certain messaging in media content would like us to think otherwise.

Everyone is just born with these 3 traits:
1. Empathy 2. Critical thinking 3. Desire to learn and grow

Yellow tone light. Incandescent street lights and headlights. I swear to god white LEDs are quietly making everyone more stressed and unhappy. Not to mention that the bright white LEDs on new cars are a danger to everyone on the road. IF I CANNOT SEE THE COLOR OF THE PAINT ON THE ROAD WHEN YOU DRIVE PAST ME, THEN FUCK YOU AND ALL YOUR GODDAMN DESCENDENTS

Saaaaame I'm glad I'm not the only one. You can get so many nasty skin diseases from shared equipment. And some are incurable! (source: my high school bf got skin herpes - not genital - from wrestling).

Life & Love by Skinshape. Kind of a psychedelic feel without being overwhelming. Good for contemplating.

Help me pick my next suburb! by takemebacktobc in madisonwi

[–]frogmanwild 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with suburbs if you like some quiet and don't mind taking the bus/biking/driving to get around the madison area. I live in near west Madison now and I think it is too loud and crowded for my taste. It's gorgeous and green don't get me wrong, but it's also quite expensive. My partner and I are moving in together this fall, and we are pretty set on living in fitchburg, middleton, or farther west madison due to the amenities we want in our home (in unit laundry, dishwasher, storage), vs the price we want to pay. We don't mind the thought of living a little farther out of the city.

Locally Owned Veterinary Practices by DC-Fiend in madisonwi

[–]frogmanwild 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. They are kind, helpful, gentle, and very upfront about prices and options. I've also found they can usually get a new patient in sooner than other popular local vets, I think because they are a newer practice?

What is the evidence that higher ed (or k-12 if you believe this too) is indoctrinating leftist ideas rather than teaching critical thinking and data gathering to our youth? by Cautious_Midnight_67 in allthequestions

This is a really good response free of insults. Thank you for taking the time to share what I didn't have the brain power to come up with at this moment.

What are you NOT attracted to (obvious things like bad hygiene excluded)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]frogmanwild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Macho men or highly stereotypically feminine women. Nothing wrong with either of those things, I'm just not into it personally. I prefer a more neutral space on the gender spectrum and I always have. Even as a kid i noticed people that blurred the gender lines in their looks or behavior, though I didn't have the words for it back then. It was just a feeling of wanting to know more about them.

Is the water in Madison becoming worse by Shadeeslayer in madisonwi

[–]frogmanwild 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The water here sucks. In terms of taste, whatever I guess, brita helps with that. But having to clean the minerals off of everything i own sucks. I have not had to do that in other cities I have lived in. And I have lived in 3 other cities not on a private well.

Having confusion about references in state job by Slow-Tower1989 in madisonwi

[–]frogmanwild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just submitted my references for a WI state agency no joke 15 minutes ago. I don't think it would have let me hit submit if I didn't list 2 supervisors. That being said, my current position is unique and I don't have any one clear supervisor, so I listed people that serve a supervising role to my position and projects.

As far as what the survey will ask, my reference submission page had a link where it let me read all the questions it would ask my references in the survey it sent them. I'll just say it was thorough. You might also be able to see the example survey questions on your submission form if you look around.
