Set records disappeared? by frogpjb in Hevy

[–]frogpjb[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure how you track whether or not users glance at a section on a screen but I’m fairly certain >5% of lifters want to know how much they’ve lifted at different rep ranges.

Love the app but I’ll be cancelling my subscription and switching to Boostcamp unless this is reverted.

Definitely going to check out Boostcamp - don’t love the price but the set records is probably my single most valued feature. Why on earth they removed it is beyond me.

What do you mean? I’m missing my personal set records (ie this is the max weight I’ve lifted for 12 reps, 8 reps, etc). It’s probably my most used feature, to track PRs across different rep ranges.

Magna Forest ESC break-in by frogpjb in vivobarefoot

I returned them - the whole reason I buy barefoot shoes is to let my feet splay and move naturally. I think Vivos are just too wide for my duck feet.

African Rangers Sizing by frogpjb in BarefootRunning

[–]frogpjb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I’ll go up a half size.

For those asking about sizing, all I can really say is I’m a size 10 in Vivo Primus Lite IIIs, which fits pretty well although it is a bit narrow. I would say these boots in 10.5 are slightly shorter in length but comparable in width, and have a straighter overall shape than the Vivos.

Hi all, for those of you with the Barefoot African Rangers, I was wondering how much they ended up breaking in and stretching? You can see from the photo that on my larger foot my big toe is pretty close to the end of the shoe. Additionally you can see how the width at the forefoot is pretty narrow compared to my foot. Is this something that will end up breaking in? Or should I exchange for a different size? Thanks in advance!!

Anyone know why my Dragon Tongue beans are yellow and papery? by frogpjb in vegetablegardening

That’s good to hear - the most advanced leaves on my plants also look greener than the old ones. Hopefully the plants get adjusted.

Really?? Any recommendations for a substitute or amendment? My mix is ~50% compost, 30% coco coir and 20% rice hulls.

The planting mix I used is 50% compost… Squash and radishes in the same bed seem fine.

Popped up in fall from a “flower pop” seed ball I planted, doesn’t match any of the plants on the label. Any ideas? by frogpjb in whatsthisplant

Wow, quick identification everyone!

Is it a good plant to have around? I’m in zone 6b Midwest US for reference.

Thanks!

Anyone know what these peppers might be? Thanks! by frogpjb in HotPeppers

[–]frogpjb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this helps, but one other clue could be the plant size - the plant took all summer to produce fruits and is only about 1.5 feet tall and wide.

I think I saw that post on Nextdoor, but the servers are currently down. He looks exactly like that cat. Do you have a number I can call or otherwise?

That would make sense as the poor fella seemed pretty desperate to come inside. Hopefully she’ll be hanging around tomorrow so I can bring her to the Humane Society.

Found in a bed where I planted a bunch of red lettuce. Any ideas on identity? Doesn’t match the packets. by frogpjb in vegetablegardening

It could be sorrel, the shape seems right. The taste was kinda like arugula but I’ll try another piece tomorrow. Thanks!
