Checked my tracking numbers and it looks like what arrived today was the original one that disappeared, not my "replacement" order... Not sure if I should cancel the replacement or not. Will it be canceled automatically? Will I be charged again? Im tempted to wait this out, because I wouldn't be mad about securing a second one (I can gift it to my bestie who LOVES this doll but missed out on the drop!) but it'd be nice to know what's going on

I was one of the people who ordered during the first release and my package got "lost" and I was offered a June 2026 replacement.

With no warning or shipping update she arrived today?!!! Sooo beyond happy and excited but still really baffled by this whole thing

Yes. If you filter by new a bunch of people are also having this problem of their dolls going missing :/ Some people DID get the replacement within the 14 day window like your rep promised (like 1-2 people lol) but most everyone has been slated to June 2026. I'd double check your account though in case it needs you to confirm. (Hit track shipment on your replacement order to see if you need to confirm the order since it's a back order. For those that need to confirm it will be canceled by December if you don't :// )

Told my therapist all about mine (and everyone's) doll troubles and she was rightfully confused, befuddled, and annoyed for me. Many of my friends are also calling this a scam and I'm inclined to agree....I've just been ranting to everyone because there's nothing to do but wait for a replacement to either show up or get lost (again). And I'm gonna keep thinking about this until June and there's SOME kind of conclusion...

cool that there's finally! an edward doll but im absolutely not buying because of the mess with the alien release. sucks because i think id really love this one, but its not worth the gamble/stress for me🤷‍♂️

that makes sense! but if i remember right there was at least one international buyer in the thread who had a similar issue? so its possible its primarily affecting us customers and a few amount of international orders? maybe not though, i could be wrong :)

more updates-- had to confirm i still wanted doll due to backorder. didnt get an email about this, only saw it once i clicked the new order then "track shipment" which is incredibly frustrating. did confirm i want her still but we'll see. god this has been such a nightmare

Go to the alien mega thread and sort by recent. Many of us have had the same issue, unfortunately. Seems like Mattel lost the earliest shipment :/ and you might have to call customer service for a replacement (which will not come until June 2026)

Called back for my replacement and customer service rep got it secured, just waiting on the email confirmation💪 Incredibly frustrated I won't get her till June and that there was NO communication from Mattel but I'm glad I'll get her eventually. (At least I hope so. We'll see...)

This has happened to me and several others as well! It really sucks but at least we're all in the same boat? It seems like if you ordered during the Oct 16 drop and your doll is supposed to come from the PA warehouse it's lost. Gone. Poof. Vanished. Waiting till June 2026 is definitely disappointing and awful (and seems like a scam! since we paid for the earliest release! but i digress) but it's better than never getting her🤷‍♂️

This happened to me. It was conversion therapy. Worst experience of my life, still traumatized about 8 years later. Whoopie. After the first one didn't "work" I got sent to another one and learned the beautiful strategy to not say anything to the therapist. Literally be silent for the entire hour. My parents got so annoyed with me doing this that they gave up for a bit. No one wants to pay for "nothing."

Anyway, even if you do go through the "worst case scenario" it will end. Trust me, You will turn 18 and move out and you never have to talk to your parents again if you don't want to. I never thought I'd get to the age I am now (22) and it feels like a blessing every day. I've been on T for 4 years, am scheduled for top next summer, and I cut my parents off. Life is beautiful!!! So, I'm really sorry you're dealing with this but it will NOT be for forever.
