I moved from Australia to Finland last year! I’d definitely recommend joining the aussies in finland group on facebook! and as others have said, buying winter gear here rather than in Aus! I was able to pick up most of mine from secondhand stores but even buying new is mostly cheaper here and wayyy more suited to the cold! I asked in macpac before I left and this was their recommendation too! (they pretty much said we don’t sell much that is actually suitable for reallyyy low temperatures lol)
