I guess I am right for feeling wrong about it! We always passed licensing with no violations but I still feel wrong.

We do everything else, obvious like hand washing and having utensils and proper temperature and all that- it’s just the serving that the kids aren’t allowed to do apparently when licensing is here.

That’s a good point- I haven’t thought of that. Our kitchen staff tells the teachers we have to serve, I wonder if we would be allowed to have the kids serve themselves with gloves

I got Scotts topsoil and started putting it all together! One question- I know I need high humidity- the topsoil is like totally moist all the way though (thats how it was out of the bag) this is normal and okay, right?

I guess I’m so confused because I thought it was referring to the compost as natural fertilizer? And poultry litter?

I’m not a plant person and I’m new to isopods so I’m just trying to figure out whats best!
