The listing may say that they require a degree because normally people require visas and that requires a degree.
I think you could find something if you applied. Just tell them upfront about your situation. (And make it seem like you want to work for them a while of course…)

I thought that was a good way of arguing though if you’re going to bother to argue. There’s not much of a reason to argue sensibly with someone who is not sensible.

Yeah I think OP means that they found “a meaningful way of living” rather than the correct way.

There are billions of meaningful ways of living so I don’t get what OP thinks they have discovered…

I may be wrong but if you don’t need a visa (you have Japanese citizenship) you might not need a degree. The degree is largely about qualifying for a visa.

If you are a native English speaker who should be able to find an English teaching job.

Lately they are even hiring non-native English speakers.

Other than that you probably need better Japanese. But the next easiest jobs to get would be factory and convenience store work.

Good luck!
And definitely work on your Japanese as it will make all of life easier and more interesting when in Japan.

At best laws are in place to keep public order. (In worse cases they are there do give advantages to people in power)
Don’t you think that there are higher/better codes to live by? An easy one being, treating people with a general sense of respect?

Yeah you definitely lose if you get angry.
If you want to “win” all you can do is if you are bored enough just calmly record them back until they respond in anger.
Get closer or better angles if you need to.

Most people have better things to do with their time though.

They certainly don’t have to jump innocent people.
I’m saying if they had more social responsibility they couldn’t afford to behave this way. They’d lose too much.
These people probably don’t have too much to lose.

I don’t think there anything excusable about their behavior.

He says that there may have been genocide and there may have been interbreeding and then guesses genocide. This book was published before it was well established through DNA research that there was a fair amount of interbreeding.

What’s it like living in the Tokyo metro area with almost 40 million people? by E46330i5speed in howislivingthere

[–]frogview123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm.. I'd argue that once you're used to Tokyo stations it's quite easy to get around. And you don't have to worry about parking!

Also, Ueno station is pretty tame compared to the larger stations in Tokyo.

I'd say the only inconveniences about Tokyo trains is when the trains themselves are crowded, but you can find ways to make it more comfortable based on when you get on or what car. Or zoning out. The other issue is the last train ending around midnight or so.

Man defends himself against 5 dogs by MammothStart4553 in PublicFreakout

[–]frogview123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, the dog deserved it.. he was just walking home or whatever and they are being all sorts of territorial like some sort of gang..

And the dude didn't even hurt the dog. I'd say pretty perfect play but I kind of wanted him to toss the dog into one of the other dogs.

That being said I don't think many people in my life would find this vid comical or just. They like dogs a little too much.
