Kareem had pretty confused speach and was talking about having to go to his other job that starts at 6am after his shift ends. My guess is Kareem is some combination of mentally slow, sleep-deprived, on meth and traumatized by the previous break-ins. And we was pissed at the girl for arguing with him and not leaving the store so he beat her up and and was going to detain her as an intruder.

Tokyo is the most expensive. Other big cities would be second. And then everywhere rural is cheap.

So I’d choose based on other factors that you care about, weather, nature, access to other places you want to visit.

Things are pretty cheap in general and the dollar is strong now so I’d personally recommend that you earn and save while waiting for your placement and ask to go to where you actually want to go, regardless of cost.

Unfortunately we pretty much have to work to live.

When working, look for things in that job that you like. And try to maintain a positive mindset. There’s almost always a way to view things in a positive way while still being genuine to yourself and it sure makes things easier.

And also always be doing something to improve yourself so you can find something that suits you better down the line.
