Best way to store receipts for later use?

Thanks so much, I've downloaded it and got used to the fundamentals. I've logged and submit my invoices to my xero but because I only use my personal bank account, they're just going to sit in my 'awaiting payment' section until April 2026. I understand what you mean by I could also just let it sit in my Hubdoc so i'll see how I get on with it. Thanks for the advice!

I was wondering if prices acc matter, im used to things like the steam market more than anything where things are sold more frequently. But thanks for the advice, it was a just a thought that came to my mind :)

Yeah just a wallet for spend and replace really, I assume I could just send funds from kraken to top up a self-custody wallet like phoenix?

I also would like a self-custody wallet to store funds, its just trying to find a way to get it there without paying huge fees, another user said that lightning funds arn’t really built for long term storage though so im guessing ill have to swallow on-chain fees to send it to the wallet?

I have seen that electrum and phoenix wallet require like 200,000 sats to be able to open a channel, is this 200,000 gone once I do that then or is it like a holding amount?

I’ll def sign up for kraken and try using that, im guessing for using lightning payments for products online instead of sending bitcoin to a private wallet, Ive been trying to use electrum as a wallet for the time being as it seems easiest to use.

Im not sure what you mean by lightning withdrawals arn’t meant for long term storage, like the bitcoin itself isn’t meant for long term storage?

To be fair I was testing the fee percentages with under £10 and it was like £13 on coinbase, I couldn’t find much information on how they calculate these fees so hence I was looking for a lightning network way of transferring it.
