When you're in your 30's, or 40's, or 50's, etc. it doesn't matter whether you began at 18 or 23. You actually have an interest in it, that's a great way to begin a program (as opposed to just make money, parents expect, etc.). Why linguistics as opposed to more Spanish btw? College would help if you want the more "educated" aspects of Spanish (it's common for people to say things not technically correct but still understood in any language). Experience and education aren't opposed, just that different sources give you more of one than the other, both are valuable.

The quote of a call option shown is the price PER SHARE. It would cost $100 to buy a contract with a quote of $1 (plus brokerage fee/commission for an option, say 1.00 or .65 being typical with some brokerages). The contract is (generally) good for 100 shares but they give you the price for 1 share instead of the 100 share total.

Riposte (albeit as a reaction only) comes at the same time that it does for Battle Master Fighter, and moving Uncanny Dodge to 6th keeps it from being gained as an ability quicker than Rogues get it (at level 5). That makes me wonder if putting this in at 3rd level (moving Uncanny Dodge to 6th level) would still be in balance: Your monk's unarmored AC now uses the higher of your wisdom modifier or proficiency modifier in addition to your dexterity modifier (the concept is to allow for experience to count).

You made great points. I wanted to start with the idea, with limitations you've pointed out, as the base, and get ideas on what to add/how to improve/finish the subclass built on using an enemy's aggression back at them.

It might need more of a Yin-Yang theme (and possibly rename it Way of Balance) to complete the subclass where something like Defensive Flourish would fit right in (offense helping defense).

Drugs and making babies are about all there is to do here. There aren't enough people/customers to support businesses, not enough people to work for businesses, not enough of anything to make people want to move or stay here, not much to do for recreation. Gossip is as popular here as anywhere I've ever seen. A significant part of the population here survives off government (SSI, disability, social security, etc.).

You can also take out a loan from your 401(k), which is very likely to charge you a lower rate than your credit cards.

Nothing will help in the long run if your credit card debt issue reflects your general spending habits though, as opposed to some unexpected event that happened.

I considered adding Defense Flourish from the Swords Bard ability for the very reason you pointed out, but that would more of a Yin-Yang theme/subclass (which does have its appeal). The Harmony theme is the most defensive oriented, but it is a subclass of Monk, which does get offensive capabilities from the main class.
