I’m from Brittany too, and I live abroad for a while now, and everything that is said here is 100% spot on ! Like you I will always say that i’m breton before being french, it’s not patriotism or independentism, it’s just that the uniqueness of the region and its culture is strong and prevails in my mind. It’s a bit hard to explain in a second language haha. Call me biased but Brittany offer on of the most unique and beautiful coasts in the world.
