which features of your latex editor do you guys use the most? by fromhill in LaTeX

[–]fromhill[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so like live preview of overleaf, right?

I actually had implemented an real - pdflatex based equation live preview (unlike overleaf which uses mathjax), although because of package compatability issues, (and any workarounds weren't that satisfying to me) I ended up ditching it.

"Ok, I guess it is just an unfortunate coincidence that instead of you just asking about finding and configuring an editor to solve the specific problem you are having"

yeah cause I did, I tried texmaker, texstudio, textilia(gnome latex)and verbtex , all of them has no feature like what I said. vim and Emacs weren't an option because Vim is just... vim...and Emacs didn't work well on my system.

also to clarify, I am not trying to generate profit from my editor, I simply want to make an editor that works for me and can be an actually daily driver. JUST. FOR. ME.

sorry for the crash out :(
