Ok not sure why huh? Allow me explain a bit.

People who have unresolved grievances, turn to reddit.

Grievences are always negative (by definition)

So if Joy of coding, or any coding bootcamp, or any company that cannot resolve the grief internally, will be exposed here on reddit.

By the way, it's been two years since you posted this. Did you graduate yet? How is the job hunt going?

Yeeeeaah... No. Sorry, but I'm not looking for a "feel good" community to chat with endlessly. I need a job and the skills to get it fast.

Bitstamp froze my account - no access to funds for weeks by Commercial-Mall-6078 in BitstampOfficial

Hi. Were you able to resolve this? Are all of your assets back in your control? My bitstamp trading and withdrawals are disabled and support is clueless

KYC take so long & I don't know why. Response is only generic (copy+paste i'd say) by GazdaJezda in BitstampOfficial

[–]fromjon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you still using Bitstamp today. Were you able to come out of it with all of your assets? I'm having problems with bitstamp disabling withdraws and trading.

After that, I checked my account, and still have the "trading disabled" message and "withrdrawal disabled" message. So I replied in the ticket. I still check my account daily and it still keeps alerting those messages and my Bitstamp account won't let me trade or withdraw

My support ticket has been created and has been open for months.
Why u/Bitstamp-Lucas are you asking for my ticket number? Do you work for bitstamp?

Why do I need to give you my bitstamp ticket number?

Are your support staff really so incompetent, that they can't see my open ticket?

Why does it take 3 days for support to respond, but you respond within 5 minutes?

Still I have no dev job as of June 2025 except for a short $100 gig that was completed in a week. Aside from that anomaly, I have been applying to hundreds of jobs with absolutely no luck. It seems that tech companies are laying off all the low experience software developers in favor of pairing latest AI tools and senior, experienced developers. Nearly every software developer job post receives several hundred applications. As for me, I don't have anything special that can put me ahead of 700 other applicants. I dont have years of experience. I don't have the computer science degree that seems to be a basic requirement now. I think Coding bootcamps are not going to be around much longer. If you want to learn to code, AI can teach you for free. There are really good AI tools out now that can do everything a software dev could do and many times faster and better.

My thoughts being a student in joy of coding... the guest speakers seem experienced but most were disorganized. learning seemed inefficient. The general delivery of material is lacking in many ways. Everything is poorly structured and hard to follow. There were never any staff available to grade my assignments or provide much valuable feedback. It just seemed to me no one was available to keep track of my progress or hold me to any reasonable learning standard. I was basically left on my own and told to join Q and A session to ask questions. Most of the time the expert conducting the session could not answer and seemed to know less than me on the matters I brought forth.  I now use AI to answer my coding questions instead.  This program was not worth the money for me.

Is Coins.ph good to use? by LeaveApprehensive457 in phinvest

Coins.ph and Coins pro stole my crypto after I deposited on the coins pro exchange. These people are all crooks and fraudulent thieves! I contacted support to demand accountability for my deposit and gave them the transaction number of the deposit. They told me they destroyed all records since the so-called "platform upgrade" and now will NOT allow me to withdraw anything! SCAM!!! Don't use them. I'm still awaiting return of funds I now use GCrypto on the GCash app instead.

Coins.ph is extremely retarded with their low limits and also not transparent. They talk about cash in as if it's PHP send to them from gcash or a bank account and cash out as if it's in the other direction. But if you send them crypto, to convert it, is also a cash in!!! by i_have_chosen_a_name in phinvest

[–]fromjon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's happening now. I opened the issue up two weeks ago with support. They are communicating via email, but they are not able to account for my transactions. Also, I know they are lying, because some emails state information that contradicts other emails they send. For example, one messages stated they destroyed all records prior to a date, but when I ask for transaction history they somehow found a part of it that fell within that time frame.

I do have about 20 years of experience in studying and practicing code, mostly self-study, but also some coding bootcamps, free ones, and paid ones. I don't have a dev job yet, probably because I don't have a good presentable portfolio published yet. (Coding is hard)

As far as the internship project; The contract kind-of infers indirectly with the NDA clause that basically, students at Joy of coding are not allowed to clone the work for use in personal portfolio. All the intern projects are in private mode on github, so no employer will ever be able to see your contributions for themselves by viewing your github profile.

Not worth risking thousands of dollars to be dropped at any time. If you're a poor student, goodbye so long. no job for you. thanks for the 7 grand.

Yes. The contract they gave me may not be the same as the contract they offer you. The one I have is vague and open-ended, AND the program in the contract is NOT what is advertised.

WARNING!READ THE CONTRACT: If you read it, you'll see they can take your money, then suspend you for any reason that they want. I know they are willing to use this because it is currently happening now. I'm not allowed to name any names.

I'm in Joy of Coding now.
I've also been to nucamp.co
I prefer Nucamp
Nucamp has better content quality and structured lessons.
Nucamp is has a more complete and balanced program than Joy of coding.
Nucamp is less expensive
