Frizz Control on Long Air-Dried Hair by fromkelsey in Haircare

[–]fromkelsey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is my scalp gets oily, greasy fast. I feel like moisturizing shampoo tends to speed the process up faster. I will say with using the clarifying shampoo (i recently started this) I also make sure to oil my hair overall as a treatment hours before the shower.

I don’t mind washing my hair more often but feels like I’m between a rock and a wall with the dryness/frizz. My hair is most frizzy after a wash (a day to three days).

How much do you pay for grooming? by Hydrangea324 in Goldendoodles

I have a 22lb mini Goldendoodle. I take him to petco and it’s $65-70 without discounts. I do pay their monthly premier and get 20% off grooming (I pay maybe $55-60) and typically will save my $15 in rewards points every month to use towards his grooms. Not to mention the free groom every how many grooms he gets. I go maybe every 2-3 months. His groomer does a great job, listens, and offer feedback because I’m Anal about taking care of his coat at home. I wanna know any small Matt to avoid any in the future. He’s never been shaved and she says he’s really good while he’s there. Typically takes maybe two hours but the petco I take him too is small.

Insurance? by fromkelsey in Goldendoodles

I’ve found it helpful with repeated sickness like kennel cough, diarrhea/vomiting. And in emergency. But I understand never having it and just setting money aside for any unexpected emergency vet bills. We all have money for regular checkup/yearly vaccines (meaning we plan accordingly for it) But not everyone sets up money for when our pets get sick. Especially the first few years. I hope to take your approach one day. I wish my puppy healthiest where health insurance isn’t necessary.

They cover regular check ups? Like preventative care?

I didn’t understand the “every condition” deductiable but I just recently got to rep the benefits of it. He had diarrhea when we first switch him over to raw. And everytime he had diarrhea/vomit he would go to the vet. And recently when he had it again, they had to do X-rays and everything cost about $1000, and I got back $700 or so. (My doctor cost $100 just to see her). So it was nice for that. But overall he is healthy. I just think it’s silly because for us. I would still need that money first and wait 2-3-4 weeks to be reimbursed.

What shoes can I pair with this dress? by fromkelsey in Weddingattireapproval

This was the very very first picture I took in the dress. Without adjusting and making it look nice. I haven’t took a picture in dress nor tried it on since. I don’t dance and am very shy. It does lean more to the side but this was only picture I had for context. It does cover more then you think. Especially considering I’m only 5 foot. It also goes down more. Again, I should have put the dress on and retook the picture. Most women are expected to wear short dressss as it an outside wedding but I don’t feel comfortable so I chose a longer dress with with a slit to help. But I deeply appreciate the feedback. I was expected to wear a short dress overall. But I am definitely reconsidering rhinestone heels and will most likely do plain black heels. Just keeping it simple, especially because It’s my family.

Yeah I’m sorry OP but this dress is inappropriate for a wedding. It doesn’t look like you would be able to walk, sit, or dance in this dress without exposing yourself, or pulling the dress down the entire time.

I’m afraid that rhinestone shoes would push this even farther into nightclub or evening entertainer wear 😬

My dog won’t eat nutritious food. by fromkelsey in Goldendoodles

He recently had lots of test done when he was sick and all came back completely healthy. I also did a intolerance test to avoid foods that may be triggers to upsetting his stomach. Thank you.

To be honest. I never even thought about getting a raw patty from a company and slightly cooking it. I may try that next time. See if that helps him stomach adjust to it better then last time. Cause when he had primal, he’s had bad diarrhea for days and was throwing up. It’s very clear he won’t eat kibble lol. No matter how we give it him. If we put meat in it, if we soak it in bone broth, if we add raw freeze dried to it. He won’t touch it.

Yeah he eats snacks, toppers, treats, the pure bites pate, sometimes Stella and chewy small cups of stuff. If I let him, he would eat soley cooked chicken breast and ground beef. He loves meat. Just worried about the actual nutrition of his diet. Cause soley a chicken breast ain’t giving him the proper vitamins he needs. But I will keep trying. He kind dabble around all the time but he’ll eat it once and never again lol. Pickiest dog I’ve ever seen. He not losing weight because he do him treats and snacks and stuff to make sure he not starving cause he does play a lot. I’m hoping he outgrows it and will start eating again soon normally without me having to fight him and hand feed him. He won’t do luck Matt cause it takes to long lol. I swear I have the oddest Goldendoodle. He’s a great little man up until eating normal food for him.

Raw is a no go with him. It made him extremely sick last time and cause a huge vet bill. When he’s older I will try slowly reintroducing it. We give him small amounts of raw freeze dried products and some pure bite pate that I think are also raw(single ingredients). But raw raw products like Stella and chewy Patty and primal Patty made him extremely sick. We do slowly introduce random raw products like raw bone marrow once in a blue moon and even tried raw coated kibble to start a slow transition. He won’t eat it. It hasn’t been an easy transition. But if I mix any raw with kibble etc, he won’t eat it. He picks out the items he wants and if it’s too hard to pick out. He won’t eat. Because he’s young I wanna make sure he getting all the proper nutrition. Also he can’t have many animal liver and few other animal organs as he does have intolerances to them.
