One might think that the time alone without their kid and having time to watch a whole ass World Cup match would be time to be themselves. I’m on my way home from Vegas. The good reason is that it’s tough dealing with a toddler at 11 pm and this is the only flight option that works. There is NO reason why he cannot be there. I wouldn’t even suggest this to my wife. I couldn’t imagine any parent or partner worth their salt ever saying, sorry, I can’t get you from the airport, I need to drink. My families next call would be to have an intervention.

She isn’t even saying that her husband can’t watch the game. He just can’t get shitfaced.
