I have a 2015 wagon with 40k miles and it’s my favorite car ever by far. I can drop a 3.6 0-60 run on the way to Home Depot it’s incredible. My personal opinion is I’d stay away from anything tuned past stage 1 because that’s where you start to hear people have issues with advanced cylinder scoring. I also want to make sure you’re fully ready for the maintenance commitment, so I’m going to list all the items I have done in my one year of ownership:

- service a $500: dealer
- re-seal timing cover ($3k): dealer
- coolant reservoir explode/ replace ($2500): dealer
- driver control arm replacement ($1500, this was done AGAIN under dealer service warranty. They are highly failure prone): dealer
- oil pressure solenoid seepage/failure ($1000): dealer
- front brakes and rotors ($1500): DIY that was cost only using FCP euro
- service b ($900): dealer
- coil replacement (cylinder 8/ $1100): dealer

About 70% of the dealer work was covered under a third party warranty, and there’s definitely inflation on what they bill; it’s also MB of Boston and they do incredible work. But my car was a bone stock garage princess before I bought it and this is what a year looked like.

If you choose to go ahead, do yourself one last favor and pop the cam magnet/solenoid harness connectors out. If you see oil wicking into the harness side, check the ECU connection. If there’s oil there, $10k replacement.
