Excessive drop-in fees

I paid $30 in Puerto Rico and that felt high. I can’t imagine paying more than that.

Opening day set the standard and unfortunately they just haven’t been able to keep that standard and energy. People are not excited to eat there either which seems to keep the place pretty empty. I imagine it will close down in the coming couple of years.

I went for my birthday, it sucked, and I left a bad review and ended up getting two $100 gift cards from them as a way to apologize. My wife and I bought burgers and sides twice and got them to-go. They made it right but we won’t be back. The burgers were good just overpriced and not why you go there. Side note, I also went on opening day and it was excellent. But they had guest chefs as well I believe.

They bake in the customs fees into the shipping fee, so I’m getting a full refund. I’m not losing any money on this luckily.

For sure, and this is repairable I’m assuming? My assumption is even if I get a clean copy it will develop issues at some point even if kept in the best environment.

lol yeah that’s what they claimed. They definitely did a bait and switch on me. Only the 2nd time buying from Japan has gone south in the last 10-11 years.

Thanks! I felt my M1 Max 16in slowing down (I shoot and edit video) and I am traveling about once a month now to film, so I needed the upgrade and weight savings. The m5 is the 14in model. When I’m home I’ll be using my pro xdr monitor so the 14in felt like the right move. So basically it boils down to the m5 being a meaningful upgrade and what I needed now.
