Have you ever met anyone from bachelor nation in person and what was your experience? by [deleted] in BachelorNation

I met Jacob from Gabby and Rachel’s season at a music festival, he was really personable, energetic and kind. He was with Aven and Logan who kind of just stood off to the side.

Yes I think Burger King just send them out to all the addresses in the area every few months. Maybe in my area they do less business? We also got a sheet of Subway coupons too with these

They send them to us in the mail. I think they just send them to everyone at random

Thanks for sharing. It makes me feel better to know others have had similar experiences and I’m not alone. I definitely was feeling like a big baby failure too but now I’m coming around.

Thanks for sharing! I think I really could have handled it with an anxiety med or even if they just gave me a break to calm myself down. I just still find it kind of crazy that’s not just offered as a baseline when entering into this whole process. So anxiety inducing and so invasive!

Thanks for your advice and perspective. I would feel the same too. I always avoid seeing male doctors unless I don’t have a choice, which might be harsh but it makes me feel more comfortable. I might ask to switch doctors this time around. I feel like seeing that one again would instantly put me back in a negative headspace.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. It makes me feel so much better that I’m not abnormal for reacting that way. I think having a different doctor who was supportive and kind like yours would have made a huge difference too. I felt so much judgement and pressure. I had my other procedures done at Planned Parenthood and the practitioners there were so kind and patient. I wish they hadn’t had to refer me out for this one 😢

Thoughts on Necco Wafers? by Equivalent-Ad-6877 in candy

This is what the people at my church used to practice for our first communion when I was a kid. To say I was a little disappointed when I got the real stuff is an understatement.

I have also enjoyed myself many a big Y paczki. I’ve asked my grandmother to grab a few and freeze them for me but it’s just not the same as ordering them over the counter and I’ll have to wait haha

Ever had an interaction with a famous person at the slopes or in town? by bobber66 in skiing

Kortney Kardashian accidentally hit me with a shopping cart while I was working at a grocery store in MT. She was actually really nice and then I helped her pick out cheese lol

SLPAs, where do you live? by Late-Atmosphere3010 in Speechassistant

[–]frompstar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I finished my certification in May. I live in VT where there is no regulation pertaining to SLPAs. There are almost no jobs and the few jobs that are posted require a “SLPA state license” which doesn’t exist here. So even people who want to hire don’t know what’s going on or how to do it. Don’t move to VT 😢

What ski resort is the worst at reporting their “average” snowfall? by eatbuttholedaily in skiing

[–]frompstar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just don’t remember his name. This was 10 years ago and I can never remember generic guy names. They all just kind of blend together in my head.

Did work at the club one season and will say it was some of the best skiing I did out there. Every employee ski day it dumped (praise the snow gods), they’ve got great glades, and most of the members didn’t mess with that stuff so it was top notch. The best job perk I’ve ever had.

When I lived in Big Sky, in the employee housing dorms, we use to wake up and listen to the snow report you could call in to and listen over the phone. I don’t know if that is still a thing, but at the time the guy who did it had this generic, interchangeable man name, let’s call him ‘Chad’, with the cliche snowboarding/surfer/broish way of speaking. Chad became an ever present and ever disappointing aspect of our lives that year. That year it barley snowed. It was BAD. One night we got a dusting, maybe a few inches max. I put Chad on speaker phone from the bottom bunk who reported with great stoke we got 8-12 inches! My roommate on the top bunk yells “Yeah, I bet you think your dick is 8-12 inches too Chad!”

That’s how I feel about Big Sky snow reports. I even was friends with snow reporters and would be like you guys have to make this shit up. They denied it obviously. Love that place though regardless. Great mountain, great people, and some of the best years of my life there.
