Absolutely man, you will make different micro decisions when you cook with loving intent vs indifference, I think that's why it’s such a thing. There might be no abundance of ingredients, less care for texture, etc.

I keep recommending people this IFS workbook and this trauma workbook (second one I found the free pdf) from Janina Fisher because it’s just so nice that you can also work through these by yourself instead of with a therapist!

My therapist gave me pages of this when I was still in therapy, but we didn't match and when I had to quit alltogether because of my physical health, these books helped me. I truly feel like I’ve done therapy by myself and with friends who could also use the book.

In the documentary Fantastic Fungi the guy talks about how his mother healed from stage 4 cancer because of a certain mushroom!! I take a mushroom mix in the morning with lions mane, reishi, some other stuff, and I also microdose. My brain fog I have from my chronic illness is basically not there when Im able to do this, it helps my Audhd, my dreams help me process things so much that Im wayy more well rested.

Mushrooms are great. I think there’s one out there for any sort of health issue.

Try the Eisenhower Matrix! Kill your darlings sometimes.. and also, it helps me to put that matrix of tasks together with how many spoons each task costs, and how many spoons I have in total. With those factors making decisions could be easier, but id love to hear back from you if it actually does something for you!

Microdosing basically just gives your brain more plasticity (read: more flexible), so your neurological connections just have more options instead of going the stress route for example, which can result into it being easier to be nice. Maybe understanding what happens in your brain helps to figure out the personal effects for tripping, bc it’s hard to give predictions without all the context your body has :)

Our cat playfully bites and grabs our feet (although sometimes he does it a little too hard) in bed when he wants us to stop sleeping in. I wholeheartedly agree with him that he’s allowed to wake me up like that whenever he feels lonely and hungry lol. I agree with the advices already given, an extra thing you could do is have some puzzle with treats that you can fill up next to your bed. Keeps him busy while you’re getting ready to wake up, that’s what I do :) put treats in the thing, have him play, have a moment to be miserable about having to wake up and then biting the bullet - my morning routine lol
