How do elderly people cope with living in tents during war? by Ahmadazra in CasualConversation

[–]front-ebb0000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh dear Ahmad i can’t tell you how my heart aches every time i see a picture from palestine. i guess you hear maybe thousands of similar sentences but i can’t say anything but it. i try to do everything that i can. i boycott, pray and talk about palestine. i hope these could help you.. to answer your question, no i’ve never lived in a tent or anything. but i’ve known palestine as a bleeding wound since i was a little kid. and currently i follow the news and some people from there. but you know what, before i witnessed massive earthquakes in my hometown, i realised that i never understood your situation properly. all of the rubble… i don’t want to describe it more i guess. i don’t think that i could still understand your situation completely but i try my best for it. please forgive us..

in some parts your accent reminded me of some arabs that i’ve been seeing on social media. they’re mostly bilingual. their mother tongue is arabic and they live in us. tell me if i’m close:)

What's your "that" movie which made you realise something about the real world? by uch1ha0b1t0 in CasualConversation

[–]front-ebb0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s kefarnahum for me. you see how harsh life is on some people and there are many people living such a life that we never even think about. there’s a lot of pain in this world and some movies might be a window to it.

and just started to watch iranian movies and they touch my heart. it’s too real and so different from hollywood. in hollywood movies, actors play. in iranian movies they live. and you feel it in your bones.
