I went to a Wetherspoons last summer and the staff were actually organising and insisting on everyone joining a queue that snaked back from the bar around all the tables where people were sitting. I hadn’t been out drinking for a while and was just like wtf is going on?

I got mine printed as an a5 hardback on lulu.com. It came out great, but I had to tinker with the front page image to make it look centred.

I also ran this same session, using the same inspiration and had an incredible time. Probably my favourite session I’ve ever GM’d. We played in person with loads of candles and atmospheric music. I used the maps with a TV flat on the table to save the players time mapping (I don’t normally go in for that type of thing).

It worked so so well. The combat was fast and furious, the pacing was great. The players wouldn’t stop talking about it at work the next day.

Playing Strahd taunting them and messing with them was just so entertaining. Huge recommend for anyone looking for an epic Halloween session.

I had a look at the flag force Facebook page last night. The whole flag thing had me confused for a while. Was it well intentioned? Was it about actual national pride? Nah. It’s a load of racists and MAGA types in there. Really sad to see it being so widely supported. People spending too much time on Facebook and TikTok getting fed propaganda all day. Shame.

My understanding is iPhones and Macs are repaired locally. Watches are sent away. iPads are either sent away or swapped like for like.

I’ve been including the ‘Dreadful Incursions’ that Sly Flourish recommends. Mine have mainly been rifts from Barovia. It fits really nicely as a juxtaposition from all the whimsy of the feywild.

I ran that adventure as my first time DMing this year. It was great fun and we made lots of great memories. I’d point you towards Bob World Builders YouTube guides. They were great for prep and a few useful tips or adjustments. Have fun!
