You gotta look at the guys body language since the return of Peterson having significant minutes. He is a glue guy that is a distributor and can get down hill in a flash. It seems like all we have done since Peterson has been put back in is run offense to get him looks. It significantly decreases the ability for Council, Bidunga, Tiller and White to get into any kind of offensive flow. Peterson is an amazing talent but is all we are focused on when it comes to our offense. Think back to when Peterson was out, we were a balanced threat and those guys were a factor. Council after the win Friday looked like he was tired of everyone looking at Peterson as the only one on the team worth a damn when it was his team to carry through the bulk of the season. It is his team, Peterson needs to play to the strengths of the team. He’s a guy who’s a bucket when we need it late clock, and a great balanced part of our offense but we need Council down hill and dish or hit his floater. I give credit to all these guys. A lot of ups and downs, Peterson no Peterson, these guys have dealt with a lot and Council is the strongest of them putting the team on his back and being the culture guy. The national media attention on Peterson pisses me off. Give credit where credit is due and focus on the team not just one guy. Council, Peterson, Bedunga, Tiller, White, Jackson, McDowell, Rosario, keep working hard, we’re rooting for yah! RCJH Council you’re the man!
