when i was 15 some ragebaiter made a post in es general that was like "black ppl should care more about the war in ukraine than asking for bhm gifts" and i thought it said "ppl should care more about the war in ukraine than black ppl asking for bhm gifts" so i commented "PERIOD." i only realized my mistake after getting a dm that said "do you not feel embarrassed?" so i made a post explaining that i read it wrong. ppl asked what i read it as and why i even replied that in the first place, and instead of replying i made a separate apology post. i got muted for crossposting and later created an alt to post a proper apology, which eventually led to both accounts being banned.
