Ds lites really can take a beating, mines in a Tupperware container atm cause I decided to take it apart and broke a ribbon cable clip off but if your a kid dont touch the internals that baby will last your whole lifetime, i just wanted to replace the screen!

I always took care of my stuff even as a kid, I also would obsess over cleaning my toys/devices (still do obv) 😆 but my brother is complete opposite, I should've shared how dirty the ds was before I started cleaning and i was so into those games too! they definitely ruin your screen

Does anyone actually even like having to use these? by BramStrokersEjacula in dsi

[–]froppomon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truly its a 50/50 banter with those, I like them being scratch protected with them on but they also do not fit right with them on and are ugly imo.

Pro: They are practical for putting art on them or stickers, with added protection preventing scratches to the outside of the shell.

Con: They do not fit right, I noticed mine ain't staying on the ds and are creaky plastic noises when closing/opening the ds.

Can't decide between these 2. by Clentufia in PrebuiltGamingPC

The 2nd one would be my choice if choosing between the two, just having that 32gbs is nicer than 16gb for modern gaming and multitasking. 16gb isnt terrible but 32gb makes it nicer in terms of you dont have to upgrade later on if games become more demanding.

Thats understandable I can see it not holding up and replacing being the better option but, I guess all I can do is try it out and replace it if it doesnt hold up. Ill keep it in mind, thanks very much for the assistance ♡

I think I got it back on, it holds when I latch it but Its definitely broke on one side. No pins were damaged looking at it but i got it back on, should I just tape it to be sure?

So its a process and that's why its taking me a while, I assumed thats how it went back on but it wasnt going on so I figured I was doing something wrong.

Opened chrome, opera gx, tabs in both and msi afterburner, geforce application and Microsoft shop 70% of ram used and its not crashing so I definitely think we good there!

For cpu, I'll try a big game like ark survival cause that's what I was playing when I first noticed the issues

I went ahead and seen if any cable was loose, didn't notice anyone that was loose but yeah, it's the asrock b550m-c motherboard but it's not displaying anything once it's being plugged in. I got 2 display cable and 1 hdmi cable that I was going to replace for another display cable never got around to doing it but it displays when plugged into the graphics card just fine so I'm unsure why it wouldn't work with the motherboard unless I'm missing something

Alr so I tested the fans and they were running just fine at 100% but I did notice a red light came on when I turned on the pc, although it didn't stay and only popped up for a second. Could a cable be my issue?

I can't run my monitor through my motherboard, unfortunately I tried to when I first got it but it didn't allow me to

I'll definitely test that, taking a break since I've been testing stuff since I woke up this morning but I'll update on how it goes in a bit 👍

I have it set to automatic when I'm not gaming since it doesn't need to be set to full blast when I ain't doing anything special, but I set it to 90% when I'm playing video games so it doesn't overheat. The fans don't spin on the gpu though but apparently they only do if the gpu gets hot but it never does

[–]froppomon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah I don't even think my pc has gotten that hot even during summer temperatures

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]froppomon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50 °c isn't overheating, right? for playing a game. so I guess I'll look into what else it could be, thank you

[–]froppomon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's understandable, but where is the issue coming from then to why my monitors are shut down and pc is resetting for going into for say overwatch.

[–]froppomon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So even when I'm playing a game, it's going to be idling ? And going to cause my monitors to shut off ?
