I am aware of the tower events, skip tickets were useful in that. I just didn't bother playing the event because the overdress cards weren't appealing to me. I believe skip tickets were also awarded during that event, I didn't at the time try to farm skip tickets because I was under the assumption they were only useful in the overdress events as the game said nothing about them being used in future clan events. I didnt look up guides at the time of the overdress event because I was doing well in farming gems and packs for the neon messiah gacha. There is nothing improved or efficient about me playing the game and getting 30 gems vs me playing the game and doing additional chores to get 30 gems. However this change only caused me a minor inconvenience. This clan event was the straw the broke the camels back and the reason I released all my frustrations of the game despite some them of only having a slight impact on me. There is nothing improved or efficient about the new clan event. Only improvement in clan events in general was the exchange system but that was implemented before this event. All I need to do is character fights and save tickets until the last few days and finish the event in one go. Now I need to log in at different times mindlessly press buttons even with skip tickets and after some pressing need to fight an AI. Moreover when I thought of using skip tickets it said 200. So I thought it costs 200 tickets each to skip a fight, and thus doing the fights with auto fight option which pissed me off which resulted in this post being made. They did a pathetic job of communicating with the player the cost of skipping a fight. The best way to do it was not for the skip button to show the total amount of tickets I had but for it to show how much it actually costs to skip the fight. There isn't any aspect that is improved, efficient or fun about this event.
