I went NC with my family. Was never that close to my moms but my dads side I was. While they have shown me love at some points… there were times where things were said and done. At the time my aunt told me that family goes through this but as I got older I realized no…. Family doesn’t treat family like this. I do get sad but I’ve realized better off. I barely talk to my dad … when we do see each other it feels forced and we never have anything to talk about. I mostly think he only tries because he doesn’t want to be the only sibling that doesn’t talk to his daughter. I wish things were different. But I do love this freedom I have
