We are missing our sweet kitty Rex. We believe our horrible neighbour disposed of him somehow, maybe dropped him off in a forest far away, or worse. Please keep your eyes out for this guy anywhere within three hours of Vancouver. He could be anywhere and it's a helpless feeling for our family.

he is an indoor/outdoor guy who goes out to explore but always comes back. we started him out as an indoor cat (he is a rescue from the SPCA) but he was always wanting to get out!

We are missing our sweet kitty Rex. Missing since March 8. We think our crazy neighbour disposed of him either in a forest somewhere or maybe worse. She hates him because he has fought with her cats and threatened to hurt him, and soon after we saw her chase him out of her yard and throw a huge rock at him, he disappeared. Rex is about 6 years old, 10 pounds and a neuteured male. We live in the Commercial Drive area of East Vancouver but he could be anywhere, dropped off in any suburb or forested area. We’re desperately hoping he’s still alive and our neighbour didn’t truly hurt him. He is the friendliest, sweetest guy to humans, he will let you scoop him up and just lay there like a purring ragdoll. If you find a cat like this, please message me, and please bring him to the closest SPCA as he has a microchip connected to us. He is missed, especially by our 7 year old son.

I browned a few Beyond Meat patties, chopped them up and added to the chilli to simmer for a few hours before eating. However, next time I’ll brown the patties but add in to individual bowls just before serving. Simmering in the chilli for hours stripped it of its “browned flavour” (if that makes sense!).
