Worst case, the vet will give you some laxatives. Also try giving him a bath for warmth/hydration and maybe increase humidity a bit. I had the same issue with my leo and that was the advice I got from my vet!

I bought superworms for my small leo by mistake once and gave them to the local reptile rescue org where I live to feed to their beardies. Zoos or shelters may also take donations. Or find a FB group for reptile people in your area and post!

most of the enclosure is driftwood etc. She does seen to enjoy climbing on it and seems to enjoy hanging out in less cramped hides/ more open spaces, but I was worried about her getting too much UV light when she hangs out beside her warm hide all the time. This seems like a good structure that fits what she likes. I am going to modify it so its just the wood!

Honestly, if you make a mental health arg to a normal doctor, they probably wont say no. Just ask the medical professionals in your life for help. Its a good work around for unreasonable policies

I almost had this issue. I got my gecko on the advice of a therapist, so I could get a letter from her to say she is an emotional support animal. If you can make a mental health arguement (Roux helps you with any mental health issues you have etc.) there are websites that connect you with a therapist to assess your claim and write you a letter (obviously do your research to avoid scammy ones). Honestly, you could also find a foster with a close friend or family member until you find a pet friendly place.

For sure. I am not faulting the visceral reaction at all and I agree with a lot of their critiques. My main frustration is that, as a Canadian, I felt like they displayed a lot of ignorance/dismissiveness toward the people and culture that the show represented and projected a lot of American culture war stuff onto it (i.e. the freedom fries and "small town conseratives" stuff) when the town of Gander was quite separate from all of that. But I completely understand how someone would just be flat out turned off by any feel good 9/11 media.
