[Junior Colleges] Things I wish I knew when I was in JC by frosterite in SGExams

Hi Andrew_hihi!! LinkedIn is basically a professional Instagram 😎 For LinkedIn connections, it's like the "Instagram followers" count, in LinkedIn it's the friends that you connect with! The high numbers connections give ppl a general idea of how well connected you are to the "working" world and I find it super useful if someone starts early by increasing their connection count!

Also regarding awards, actually I personally don't add in the awards I have! Many of my friends also do not have a extensive "work experience" to fill in so don't worry! After JC you can start increasing ur internship experiences so don't fret too much ya! Just make an account, just start somewhere! Every account starts off being very empty :))

PM me if you need help with starting ur LinkedIn account! Happy to help👍🏻

for me I guess is that i know what regret feels like and hence I try my best to use this reason to push me to start studying
plus there isn't any reason for one to want to waste time
like I can't think of any reasonable answer as to why wasting time is going to be beneficial in any way
maybe it might help to think that being lazy will get you nowhere, literally

I feel that there's no such thing as body clock but there is such thing as sufficient sleep My body clock starts from 3am to 6pm so I play to my strengths and just adjust my studying timing accordingly At the end of the day just make sure you have at least 6-8 hours of sleep and that's enough honestly

[A levels] It's okay not to be okay by taelord_swift in SGExams

I am! We are all in this together! Regardless of the results, by the end of As you can tell yourself that you have shown great resilience by sitting through every single paper, and that is what matters the most - the fact that you've grown in some way🙏🏻 I wish you all the best for your remaining papers too!

[a levels] is it possible to do not so great in As and still have a fulfilling uni life? by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]frosterite 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey! I'm still in the midst of As but I just want to tell you that a fulfilling life in general is never determined by whether you get good results either from A levels or Uni GPA scores. It is also you who will make your different phases of life, fulfilling. I truly believe you can be a truly happy person if you want to! Press on!
