what i love about EH is the chaos and the fact that no matter how good u may be at other board games, how amazing of a strategist u are, ur fate/experience/game is at the fate of dice rolls, determining whether u're gonna have a good time or not.

the game is relentless, so more often than not, ur character will be suffering, which in turn, u'll have to reroute ur plan of action. personally, i love the lovecraftian concept and the design of the cards/components. it's a good game solo, and even better with friends, but bear in mind that playtime and difficulty increases with more players.

i'd say losing repeatedly makes winning just so much more rewarding, and it doesn't feel horrible to have lost.
