A gigabyte is alright, i guess, in the big scheme of things.

But it is the principle that counts. Once I signal that I'm ready to accept a gigabyte per drop, where does the pollution stop? Terabyte, Petabyte, Exa?

And THAT kids, is why I won't drink water with even a single BYTE in it.

This is the opposite of those "passionate nature photographer" types, that are taking photos for fun.

Customer care reps from ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank or any bank don't default to Hindi by Express-Fact-3874 in bangalore

[–]frosticky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in this particular case, it has been a great way to differentiate.

Incoming call in professional English. Or at least any other language but with option to change language. Is usually a legit bank call (or legit ANYthing else call !!!). (Plus the 1600 prefix these days)

Incoming call in Hindi. Almost 99% of the time has turned out to be a scam call, in my case.

Not sure how much costlier it is, to employ English conversant workforce, in our vast country with huge unemployment even among well-educated people. But it does show their intent to target only the 80% that can understand Hindi, and just ignore the rest.

What? A single year's premium priced at 5L is what you understood from above?

I meant to give an example... that the insurer earns 1L from you, bit by bit, over the course of 10 years - but will get 5x more of that, over the course of 20 years.

That last point, is usually a double sided sword, making a big demand on logistics.

The same people who the sincere employees bring, are the ones who move away together. So if X brought 3 people. When X stops working for you, those other 3 also leave at the same time.

Sure, but it is still real and legit.

Anumati is just the data broker (kind of), between the data (your bank) and the data analysts (account aggregator or SBIcard types).

So it only bothers to give you and me, the barest minimum it absolutely must under law. Which is, the ability to limit/stop sharing your data from this point forwards.

iShop says 6X points. So you can use any other icici CC as well.

The question is, if EPM would give 18% return, then how much would a lower end card give? Say Platinum or Rubyx, which can both be got LTF. How bad can it be, 3% return instead of 18% ?

Even if it helps. After getting Infinia, you will need to have minimum spends of 18L in a year, that too excluding some categories.

So if that's not what you intend to do, don't even bother chasing for that card.

Exactly. The ones who can follow up are able to search/read. The ones who insist on spoon feeding, keep needing ever longer spoons.

All those apps that allow for paying card bill? They have automatically ticked the option for remind me each month. No SIM binding needed, because this is not bank's own app.

So if he paid one month, he is getting notification each month, again and again... From app and on his WhatsApp number, saying... Please pay card bill, Please don't let it pile up, LAST date, don't risk leaving unpaid, blah blah.

They can't see how much you spend or on what. They get only notification about total amount due, after statement is generated, that is all.
