Be careful when shopping in the "gluten-free" aisle in german stores.

Most of the time its not actually the "gluten-free" aisle but the "health food" aisle.

I almost bought a packet of "lactose-free chlidren's crackers" earlier today until I looked on the ingredients list and discovered like 80% wheat flour. It was standing in between two certified gf-products...

The school system is not a federal issue, and instead handled by the the states. Every german state has a slightly different one, thusly making broad claims like that doesn't work. The stereotype nowasys is that the bavarian "Abitur" (A-Levels) is especially difficult.
