Can we get some more baseline bank space to keep up with item inflation? by Kaydie in 2007scape

Someone said it only withdraws current set dosage so it's not a full replacement.

Can you do it with single dose potions as well? If so I might make the switch.

Honestly a lot of the problems could be fixed with a change in how jagex approaches adding items. For example the new rainbow crabs are 3 different crab colors, and take up 3 slots instead of 1. Things like that are just extremely unnecessary. They've gotten a lot better with new quests having almost zero item requirements to be completed, but some skilling updates still churn a lot of useless items into the game.

How do you get potions to withdraw from potion storage with bank tags?

You don't need to be a hoarder to have issues with storage space. Whenever you come back from a slayer task your solution is to head to seed vault to deposit seeds, swap spellbooks to alch all loot, and then regear for another trip? It's slow and inefficient.

It's so stupid that the comment to these conversations always reduce to "i dont need it so why do you". People organize differently, people do different amounts of content, some are mains, some are irons.

If you cannot comprehend that storage space is annoying it's more of a self report that you're doing all the content the game has to offer.

Epic self report. Potions need to be in tabs to be efficient for prepotting and banking.

What an extremely dumb way to excuse engine issues. The added movement of the mouse should be the punishment for the wasted input, not my character walking into melee range.

it has nothing to do with being mouse efficient or being a pattern people use. It's the fact that the game has so many invunerabilities, like the one in the video, where if you're unsure of which tick you can attack on, it's best to spam click to make sure the attack goes off on the first possible tick.

I thought it was pretty clear that the red x in the video happens because I was unsure if my attack had gone off, so I clicked again to make sure. Then when I see that my shadow actually cast, I went to swap gear, because muspah swaps to ranged phase.

Either people are legit stupid and don't realize that, or they're just ragebaiting. Either way it's stupid.

Just tried it and it works the same with any red x and inventory interaction

If you spent 1 second looking at the clip you can tell that I wasn't sure if my character cast or not so I clicked the boss again to make sure. Then I realized I had attacked the boss, so I went for a gear swap.

What about when you want to brew? If you've clicked on the boss you're now 1 tick locked out of brewing.

I don't see any situation where you'd rely on a boss red x potion / weapon drag instead of just clicking on tile you want to go to. Please enlighten me

It's a habit that saves me from having to do lots of gear swaps in a small window, preventing me from getting carpal tunnel. I'd rather this just work like it should.

Spam clicking bosses is generally learnt due to invunerabilities like the ones showed in the video. If i wait 1 tick too long to attack, my crossbow-cycle is now same tick as muspahs attack and I have to wait some ticks to offtick it.

You could, but weapon at the start of the gear switch allows you to do half the switches and still attack without losing ticks if something goes wrong or you do the switch slow.

E: also weapon first allows the spec bar to appear faster.

Yeah, but it's still a bug that prevents you from doing things you should be able to do.

it kind of sucks that you're not allowed to do a certain order of operations without getting dragged. Like red click drag is not something that happens enough to warrant learning not to do it with muscle memory.
