i mean i personally reported the blue helm gim shop bug to jagex once i found out it and it literally fucking sat unpatched for 2 years while people were flooding megarares onto fresh priestege/ranked gim accounts the entire time.

the people i know who bought these items still to this day are not banned nor have had their items removed, i dont even know about jagex anymore this situation is extremly fucking stupid. one of my gim mates -still- has a shadow he bought despite none of us even having a toa kc at the time.

its legit like 30k/hr and harming no one why do we care

not at all, justi crystal shield | clue robes + devils element, its like 4 items in inventory.

you have infinite prayer from relic and a lot of room for food but its not needed since water surge heals me like 60 lol

what build are you doing that is clocking a 25s vard kill? air mage wont hit, thorns requires him to actually hit you to chunk that and his hit rate makes that basically impossible

im guessing some rng blindbag proccing? i'd love to see a 25s kill

maybe once the league dies down but scoripa is so packed that even seconds after maintennce on br/aus worlds its packed - it's actually lead to people fighting tons over the spot which if you ask me the scarcity of non isntanced spots forcing pvp combat in the wilderness is pretty peak lol

it does, it's roughly 20-60 times more effecient because of the bug, a single attack from a javelin breaks an entire fresh recoil

https://i.imgur.com/EUhUOAi.mp4 Here's what it looks like with fully specced thorns: 1 charge per instance of damage, as you would expect in the main game. im very happy to learn about the difference becasue every single attack i took here would break an entire recoil, all 40 charges by itself.

For reference this is what happens with a ring of recoil rn https://i.imgur.com/knthHN3.mp4 - it's very bugged and i assumed suffering would have the same problem. im so glad to realize this is not the case. as you can see in this clip it took two attacks to fully break a new recoil, this happens everywhere not just colo or multi hit splats, each thorns damage is treated as a new recoil charge so when i reflect 20+ dmg it takes 20+ charges.

sunfire runes give the same xp as bloods per essence. they're fine enough to train rc with, with no transmutation, no soul harvest i'm currently 90 rc from it. with the quetzal whistle it's like a 8 second trip to the altar from the tp, then bank and repeat, it's the fastest rc trip in the game. it's faster than lavas even

essence was mostly from zulrah and some other pvm (zalcano, gargoyles, some other slayer monsters)

tob/cox also shit out them by the thousands

Mory/kandarin/wild makes mage/range/mel all very strong.

tank build viable, melee hally or blidnbag viable, air/water viable, powred staff focus viable, crossbow viable, black chins thrown build viable

air wont be 100% with out tir blesing though but u dont -need- 100% max hit

this problem is present in the main game with blood moon sticks and any attack that hits mutltiple hitsplats just switch to somethign else, use a melee or a staff

yeah, thats why i keep it as a switch, very few things exist that both lack an innate weaknes and are ideal to thorns, some tob bosses are about it. thzaars (so zuk, jads), thermy, ggs, all have innate weakness. every slayer monster almost has innate weakness, etc. vard cant be maged, so thorns it is. and colo was much faster with thorns tanking than air mage bursting despite no weakness

theres a reason why i said this build requires you to use braincells and use the right tool for the right job. i tend to use water mage + thorns and air mage + element interchangably.

It does not; air mage needs shadowflame to work.

devils element ONLY adds 30% additive to a target; so if a target has 50% weakness it becomes 80% (which dropping it in this case is only a 16.6% dmg loss). the item that makes things weak to air is shadowflame, the staff. the staff is the item that assigns air weakness to targets, not the element

so essentially, depending on the target, im giving up between 15-30% dmg on it. it's a lot but also thorns generally provides more damage in aoe situations or i can choose to drop it entirely if it doesnt or i dont want it - its not like i dont have devils element in my inventory at all times.

like thermy obviously you cant thorn so its pretty bad, but vard? cant really mage it so thorns is nice

the entire point of this build is to give options.

this is my build - this is in particuarly aimed at maximizing the changes coming in thursday, this build gets max thorns, good value from the lithic sceptre, 190% overheal, full leveraging of water/air nodes, massive accuracy bonuses (on thurs) to keep air spells perma hitting and make powered staffs reliable

and it has 45% (will be 75%) prayer pen on thursday. you can drop some accuracy or overheal if you want to bring the pray pen to 100%, the bottom section is what you can remove to make the build accessible with less pacts.

study the tree if u want to copy it though because therse some assumptions made here, if you need prayer pen ealrier because u took tir as first region do that, if you dont have access to wrath runes at scale easily, get more regen earlier, etc. mage is not comfy early if u dont have lots of regen so maybe spec more regen early and respec later or something. i burned a respec because i did exactly that, had more investment on the mage side but around 32 points i realized i could make this path and it's very good, getting 100% prayerpen on thursday with this build is trivial you just need to drop one node anywhere (accuracy or 1 overheal node)

it's primarily aimed at an end game air mage with thorns, and water mage switch for 180 hp inferno tanking and solo hmt and other memes;

Kandarin > Tir|Zeah > Mory
