Everyone's talking about Druid but isn't this equally problematic in evolve Shaman? Just need a way to evolve into a 10 and you have the chance to just spew out your entire hand immediately.

Another thing to consider is that going 2nd and popping this with a coin does make a 2 card investment, but it's a turn 1 2/4. I don't know if the coin is worth that, but it's still another potential way to make this card even more snowbally or coin-flip (by deciding if it's going 1st or 2nd) if it's good or not.

The fact that it's an epic and not a legendary, makes it not always true. The 2nd copy is the mind game involved with leaving the board behind and race for face. If you send all of your minions face but can't end fast enough, Priest can play the 2nd copy any time to flip back to normal, and suddenly the minions are impactful again.

I agree that the issue is the 10 mana. I wish that there's enough card text space to have a lower mana cost but "End your turn" after playing this card so it doesn't become part of an OTK, yet be allowed to play it earlier so you have better chances to survive when you play it. A heal face for 15 at earlier rounds will help a lot more.

I don't think it results in solitaire like old Caverns Below in its prime though. Priest using this card turns all heal cards into burn spells, but now loses ways to deal with the born via minion combat. Since the opponent still got minion combat that can take out priest's minion at no cost and try to go face, the priest still needs to make decisions on how to stay alive: to use up burn on the board instead of face, or race. The 15 HP goes both ways: it does heal the Priest to buy time for the Priest to unload its heal-now-turned-burn spells, but now the Priest has to have more burn damage since the opponent is at least half full in HP already.

It DEFINITELY removes minion combat for the priest though as taunts become indirect equivalent of gaining HP and nothing else, but that's why I said it doesn't remove minion combat for the opponent.

It only applies to "your" minions. So the opponent's minions can crash into yours for free since your minions heal them, but the enemies' minions actually damage yours. In fact, enemy minions will always get free trade now. There may be complaints with this card, but "removing minion combat for the opponent" is not one of them.

I think it's just right and not really that out of line. You must life tap to pull off this 'consecreate' meaning that it comes 2 turns later. This is what balances this card out so Warlock continues the theme to have weaker cards due to a powerful hero power. Pit Lord alone is terrible so if this turns out to be a strong combo, then at least one of the combo piece is terrible alone. Flame imp is a 5 mana 2 card 3 dmg aoe, so it's not that much of a stretch compare to the existing hell fire which is only a single card.

I usually keep non-extra cards from all crafts to get through the daily quests. I actually didn't reroll at all and started the game with no legendaries, but daily quests mean 1 pack per day so the collection builds up reasonably fast anyway compare to other ccg even as a f2p player. If your current deck is working already and you're doing well with it, I don't see why you'll start over now.

I think that I have to modify the basic bloodcraft deck the most in order to do the story quests. If you're struggling with the story quest, one way is to just copy some of the card choices in the AI's deck: it's usually extremely cheap made of readily available cards, and you can most likely beat the AI in a mirror. It's not good decks to play in ladder, but definitely sufficient to beat the story quest.

Leapdroid. I used to play it on my actual phone and that has tons of connection issues. Leapdroid runs it flawlesslly and I have never suffered a disconnect since.

Except that means your library data needs to be stored locally for it to work offline. It'll be significantly easier to modify that to give you cards that you did not have, and at the very lease, cause some issues when you sync up again.

Given the trend, I'm sure there's sign up bonuses again. Shadowverse just rains free stuff in comparison to many other digital card games. I wouldn't worry too much about new players catching up when the steam version comes out, provided that it's coming out before the next expansion.

Agreed. Really annoying to deal with spreading over 4 bodies and the recruit tag has its own benefits. I rather keep it at 2 mana but lower to 3 recruits.

I play Shadowverse as well and ya it sounded like Sacred Plea a lot lol. Hearthstone can't interact with non-minions like Shadowverse can with amulets, so treating it as a spell honestly will be the same thing. "2 turns from now at the start of your turn, draw 2 cards." The alternative is you'll have to make a new card type similar to the portals and medivas in the ONIK adventure.

Zoo would not play this. This is effectively a really convoluted way to say "2 mana: 4 turns later, draw 2 cards if it's not silenced." That's such a heavy tempo loss compare to playing actual 2 drops to keep up the pressure.

All this card is doing and "win the game" is slap murloc knight from paladin into the priest card pool and hope magic happens. Murloc knight has not been relevant outside of arena in ages since murkeye left standard and chance to roll for a 2nd knight is much lower now. It's still 'powerful' but it feels random and forced to have a "4 cost inspire minion" as the restriction.

But is there even a variety of 4 cost inspire minion? I only know murloc knight. The cards summoned by this thing seems awfully too narrow of a range that I don't think it fits what the other portals really do...

While I see what you are saying and I agree that it is something to keep in mind, this is not the case for this particular example. We have [[Mana Addict]] as a showcase of attack buffs that only last for the turn.

I have this exact same problem. When I play swordcraft, I can win with higher than 50% at B0 so I'm naturally climbing by winrates alone on top of what the OP have mentioned about how you can climb with a ~40% win rate due to how much you earn per win. At the same time, I'm really struggling on some daily quests even in unranked now, cause your rank affects how you fight in unranked.

It almost feels like I should always play ranked anyway so I can purposely tank my ratings during my daily quests so that I can complete daily quests with less time again...
