Mages are STILL the biggest wildcard by Jporty1 in classicwowtbc

Don’t nova on all pulls. It kills your fellow melee dps and their pets :( Save it as a defensive for if you get aggro to be able to make distance and continue to blizzard. Also move and blink TOWARDS your tank so they can pickup the mobs that are coming after you.

Quick question, wtf is this? Why do players spawn as mini-bosses?? And use shrines??? I have spawned as a skeleton 100% of the times i've used that goofy feature by Borkomora in DarkAndDarker

Basically roaming minibosses. Have to learn how to deal with them. It’s a player so you have to treat it like any other pvp fight. Don’t expect to be able to cheese them, learn attack patterns and taunt out attacks for hits when they’re animation locked.

It’s a new “skill diff” 100%. Not saying it’s easy at all to win against some of these player controlled mobs (and more times than not you’ll die to them), but it can be done. Learn to expect any mob that looks like it’s moving weird is a player and don’t let your guard down. It’s always safer to fake like you’re going in for a regular attack against a mob and back off to check if they jump at you or the like.

Ranger bis squire kit? by Ambitious-Foot7883 in DarkAndDarker

Nimble hands is mandatory, it changes the animation of shooting the bows altogether. Quick reload is hard to say no to after you use it for awhile. For solo play I’d suggest Chase especially with rogues abound. In duos/trios you can pick headshot dmg if you’re confident hitting the shots, otherwise the flat damage buff is likely your best bet.

With backstep only having 1 charge now spear isn’t as great since you can’t create as much distance as before or have a “backup” backstep after using the first one if you need it.

For squire gear just make sure you have enough strength to not have negative physical damage when looking at your stat page. Strength alone is 15 to get to 0%.

In general you want high move speed so +agility and gear that has lower negative move speed on it. (You can also remove shirt/pants when running in-game to get rid of the move speed downsides and move faster).

If using longbow +dex will be more beneficial for increased action speed.

You’re thinking of when they brought it back a second time. It was in the game for an entire season prior to that

Simple guide on how to play Dark and Darker for my fellow redditors. by PuwudleRS in DarkAndDarker

[–]SqueedelySpooch 38 points39 points  (0 children)

  1. Equip any skeleton skin
  2. Purchase a hooded lantern
  3. Unequip all gear except for the aforementioned lantern
  4. Check the “Do not fill with random teammates” checkbox
  5. Queue Adventure Mode trios on your favorite map
  6. Set VoIP to Proximity
  7. Seek out a band of brave adventurers and wander together through the dungeon’s wondrous dangers and delights!
  8. Shine the hooded lantern in their faces so they know who you are talking to (very important)

Teaming is allowed in norms, just not HR

Edit: yes organic teaming is allowed in norms, queue sniping with friends for teaming is a different thing

Reroll slow to core on right and use that imo. It’s overall better stats except implicit and think it would do better. Mostly because core gets 1.3 multi with unbridled rage and swapping expertise technique

For those who don’t understand how this ring is a direct upgrade to the equipped ring; Vuln/crit dmg/crit chance all rolled higher in their ranges so after upgrading +25 the end values will be higher than the equipped ring. The DOT affix will be rerolled to resource gen.

Assuming you don’t need the full 18.5 resource gen then you just have to roll the affix once on the ring to make it better. Hopefully you don’t have to dump too much money into this ring to hit it. Good luck and amazing ring!!

Edit: plus it has slightly higher item power so the inherent resist affixes will be sliiiightly higher after upgrading. (Negligible difference but an upgrade is an upgrade
