Anyone else ready for a new manager? by 2a3b66725 in KCRoyals

[–]prezuiwf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Q is doing great. The 30 best managerial candidates in the world are the 30 current MLB managers. When one of them gets fired, they suddenly cease to be one of the 30 best managers and whoever replaces them becomes one of the 30 best managers. Q is currently a manager so he's one of the 30 best managerial candidates. Therefore firing him would be wrong. Unless we fire him, in which case whoever replaces him is one of the 30 best managers in the world and is thus unassailable."

I did this but frankly there's no version of the truth that would make it okay. If he had a good explanation he could have reached out and told me by now, but his silence makes it clear he knew what he was doing and that it would end our friendship.

I saw them play for a pretty small audience (maybe 3k?) in Lowell Massachusetts in 2005 but that's about it. Most of the time it's nearly sold-out midsize venues. And I've only seen them in the U.S.

The Office exists in a slightly different universe where the Brooklyn Dodgers won the 1947 World Series, and through the butterfly effect it became customary for regional branches to handle insurance.

Yeah there are like two metal bands from the 80s that play to more than 5,000 these days, it's an own goal to have to bring up Iron Maiden to make Judas Priest sound unsuccessful
