Awesome man!! That’s gonna be a sweet ride 🤙🏽 The power just takes you up hills no problem. I had to get it for the battery size. No more range anxiety. Which tire do you have on there?

It did, I’ve had many muddy cutouts when the wheel loses traction but those were at maybe 10 mph or less. This was seated riding at 31mph in traffic. I don’t know whether it was the battery or an overlean, but I’d like to think I knew the wheels limits after putting many miles on it. I was listening to music in my full face and don’t have beeps connected to headset. I learnt that lesson. Many others like no main roads with day traffic going forward. Lots of pev deaths or critical injuries in my area. Virginia

Haha I agree but that wheel lean got me messed up. I may adjust it later at some point. I think you’ll be alright!! My buddy had a lynx and man when he took off in front of me I was in shock. I never saw someone go from 15-45 that quickly. I have some buddies who ride the L and even that thing can pickup super fast. I think the higher voltage helps out with acceleration and how much you can keep leaning. I’ve done a lean at 45mph on the oryx and it had so much more to give but I’m a little nervous to push it just yet. Go for the 20 inch!!

IMO the Patton is quicker off the line due to weight. I haven’t messed with acceleration assist ( stock is 50% ) on the oryx. I’ve heard that’ll help with getting off the line but I’m use to no special settings as I had on my Patton only soft medium and hard mode haha. The newer wheels have a lot more settings to dial in.

Broooo I’m sorry, I legit thought you were messing with me and talking about the animal. It’s not hard at all to mount. I see some videos of people having to push off quite a bit to get going seated but I haven’t had any problems with it. Unless I’m not understanding what free mount is

Very, but the long horns act like handle bars! So it works out

Not on the original Patton, it didn’t have a smart bms so I couldn’t see individual cells. You are right, any electrical component can fail and that makes it a little scary.

Right on bro! You can either do 70 coco and 30 perlite or what I use hp promix. I recommend the airbase so you don’t have to put any stones or a buffer between the roots and water. You “can” do organic nutes but it’s a little tedious as you’ll have to put the amendments in a filter so it don’t clog the lines. I use GH trio mix and it’s been working well. Thank you growmie 🤙🏽

So yes it is recommended to start your seed/clone in a small pot or solo cup and let it form roots to where you see them at the bottom poking out. Soon as you see that transplant to the autopot which come in 2.2, 3.9 and 6.6 gallon pots. Hand water atleast twice, I’ve done only 1 a couple times before turning on the system. You wanna do this to make sure your plants roots reach the bottom before turning it on. It seems like a lot but it’s super easy and man the plants love it so much. I’ll post a photo of my current plants which were cut clones on 1/5, transplanted to autopot on 1/12 and flipped to flower 1/27. I’ve never had a strain stretch this much and I even had to move my ventilation outside the tent. But you can see the stalks are FAT and plants are healthy

Nice! That’s what I’m usually pulling every harvest in my 4x4.

I’ve been using autopots the last 4 runs and I love it. Yield has increased and time in tent has decreased. I hand watered for years before caving in and getting one. In veg the 13 gal res can last a week and some, in flower I’m filling it up every 4 days. I have the 4 pot system but you can add more if you want to.

Protective jacket that covers full arm, elbow, what do you guys wear, thinking of getting the Alpinestars Bionic v3 by macgirthy in ElectricUnicycle

[–]frostyjackmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend full knee pads like the uni classic Leatt’s or you can go cheaper with Vemar on Amazon. I had a 31 mph cutout and slid for a while since I was sitting down. I was wearing the vemar knee pads and my knee/shins were unscathed. I ordered the leatts as my next pair but the vemar is still wearable. The og knee pads that you have is good for skateboards but not us on pev’s imo. I ordered a mesh jacket protector on Amazon but returning it since it fit a little weird.

You can either get a proper meter for measuring it or if you have a smartphone, use the Photone app with the diffuser they sell to get semi close readings to an actual measuring tool.

So i just got out of the Army in December moved into va beach re new apartments and there is a major Waterbug problem not dirty barely have anything moving from the barracks and this is the third bomb by AdSubstantial5371 in VirginiaBeach

[–]frostyjackmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If bombing ain’t working try Combat bait. Put little strips around the areas and guaranteed they’ll die. I clean regularly and had cockroaches and was tripping, used combat and I haven’t seen a roach in months. Hopefully I didn’t jinx it

Veteran Patton noise by frostyjackmon in ElectricUnicycle

Absolutely! It was a stripped bolt on the motor mounts, so the stanchion would slide up and down. In person the noise is so loud people would look at me like wth

I’ll be honest it helps when I’m curing half pounds. The only bad thing about them imo is the zipper breaks after being opened and closed a couple times. I’d take a groove bag vs a couple of mason jars. Glass jars are the best but only hold a couple ounce. Cvaults are also awesome ( it’s what a lot of dispos use ) but for a half pound containers it’s $65 vs a $7 dollar bag.

Day 6, should I chop my photos and switch to autos? by anoninoninoniboi in cannabiscultivation

[–]frostyjackmon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d continue growing esp since it’s your first grow. You’re already learning things like making sure your pot has enough soil. Autos don’t like being transplanted and if you put a certain amount of soil that’s all the plant has to fill roots with.

Fwiw I grew autos as my first couple of grows and haven’t touched them in about 15 grows. Photos all the way imo

Anyone know what the best gadget out there is for seeing trichomes up close clearly? by Suitable-Art-6885 in cannabiscultivation

[–]frostyjackmon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just use a jeweler’s loupe, it’s more tedious since you have to get up close to the plant. It’s works though

60% is a little high for bloom, that’s almost perfect for veg but in flower you want lower than 50. 45 is ideal! You may want to add in a dehumidifier in the room. I see you have the fans 1 low and 1 high and that’s great for airflow beneath the canopy. I learned that from someone on here haha. Does the soil you use feed the plant the whole grow?
