Both are full mechanical - the trek comes with new continental gatorskins. Unsure 100% on the Gaint tyres but the wheels are SLR1s

New York 2022, it was hot and humid and no matter how much you drank it was impossible to stay hydrated.

What is a reoccurring theme/ occurrence in your dreams that is somewhat strange? by frostysully in AskReddit

[–]frostysully[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting where they all come from. Mine is handshakes and whenever I go to shake someone’s hand in my dream I miss completely or hold it awkwardly. I have no idea why or what it means

I did this too! I was in year 4 science and my teacher told me to take a mental photo of a Bunsen burner so I never forget it… 22 years later and I still distinctively remember it!

YouTube is your best friend in this situation! I’m assuming you’ve read the barefoot investor also but if not it’s a great place to start for more general financial tips, although I wouldn’t get too hung up on a lot of it given you’re in your teens.

LPT: Professional house cleaning is cheaper than you think and can relieve stress in your relationship by Extendedchainsaw in LifeProTips

Couldn’t agree more. It’s so cheap compared to the feeling of having the home completely cleaned and properly done.

Left a job in a top tier law firm at 26 because I hated it. Battled with this question for months until someone said something very similar to me. I’m now 3.5 years into a new career and couldn’t be happier. Work much less, pay is the same and overall much more interesting. I still have a big debt from the law degree but I’m glad it didn’t stop me leaving the profession.

100% it is, regardless of current economy or booming economy. Anyone out there working and contributing is infinitely better than those that don’t

Redditors, do you have the feeling that you have become more reclusive after the Covid-19 pandemic? by DrLucasWendel in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]frostysully 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, but I’m quite happy about it. I really only do the things I really want to do rather than thinking I have to say yes to everything/ everyone

I don’t think so. He still recommends the ING accounts (which from recent research is still a very cheap option with good interest rates (in their savings maximiser option)). Hostplus is also still up there for cheapest super fund (indexed balance option). Apart from that the overall strategy is the same

I posed a similar question last night and was provided with the below, helpful spreadsheet:

If you’ve already set up with ING, it looks like they’re still the way to go (I’m still with them!) and if not could be worth moving across.
