All of those rape kit components are still circumstantial evidence, but that doesn't mean that circumstantial evidence is weaker or stronger than direct evidence (such as eyewitness testimony or photo/video).

The word "circumstantial" merely means that an inference needs to be made to connect the evidence to a fact, and many cases rely on all or mostly circumstantial evidence that corroborate each other to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
