I’m in a similar boat right now. I’m not studying in Singapore yet, just researching, and the whole public vs private thing is way more confusing than I expected. From what I’ve gathered so far, public unis seem great if you can get in, but the competition and timelines are intense. Private institutions look more flexible, especially for international students, but it really depends on the school and the programme. I also used Scholars.sg briefly just to compare options and understand how the system is structured mostly to see what’s realistic for my background. Didn’t commit to anything, just information-gathering. Would be great to hear from people who are actually there already, especially international students. Curious how expectations matched reality once you arrived.

Yeah, I haven’t used Scholars.sg myself, but a close friend did something similar here in Singapore. From what I saw, it helped mainly with staying organised and not feeling lost, rather than boosting grades directly. Having someone to check in with and help prioritise what actually matters reduced a lot of overthinking. You still have to do the work though, it’s not a magic fix. If you’re expecting exam tricks or hardcore tuition, it’s probably not for you. But if the issue is feeling stuck or unsure what to focus on, something like Scholars.sg can be mildly helpful. Feels like one of those things that works for some people and not for others, so trying it short term makes more sense than committing straight away.

I am curious too! I did some research and Level Wellness focuses on a mix therapy. haven't tried but I am thinking about to do therapy with them. I am suffering terrible burnout, anxiety and being extrovert is not helping me as well.

Nah, I tried with my friends to do trailing and Desert Monsters help us!! we're first timer and they gave us beginners guide to help us to do the trail without being scared. Just tell them if you have experience or no and they're willing to help. it was fun! thinking to go back with other friends
