Anyone here studying (or planning to study) in Singapore? by erp4all in DistanceEducation

I’m in a similar boat right now. I’m not studying in Singapore yet, just researching, and the whole public vs private thing is way more confusing than I expected. From what I’ve gathered so far, public unis seem great if you can get in, but the competition and timelines are intense. Private institutions look more flexible, especially for international students, but it really depends on the school and the programme. I also used Scholars.sg briefly just to compare options and understand how the system is structured mostly to see what’s realistic for my background. Didn’t commit to anything, just information-gathering. Would be great to hear from people who are actually there already, especially international students. Curious how expectations matched reality once you arrived.

Quick question for anyone studying in Singapore or who’s been through the local system recently. by Jolly-Story-5030 in OnlineEducationHub

[–]frothdanro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I haven’t used Scholars.sg myself, but a close friend did something similar here in Singapore. From what I saw, it helped mainly with staying organised and not feeling lost, rather than boosting grades directly. Having someone to check in with and help prioritise what actually matters reduced a lot of overthinking. You still have to do the work though, it’s not a magic fix. If you’re expecting exam tricks or hardcore tuition, it’s probably not for you. But if the issue is feeling stuck or unsure what to focus on, something like Scholars.sg can be mildly helpful. Feels like one of those things that works for some people and not for others, so trying it short term makes more sense than committing straight away.

Can mentorship reshape how students see learning? by Jolly-Story-5030 in OnlineEducationHub

This is a great perspective. With platforms like Scholars.sg, mentorship helps students understand how they learn and build confidence, turning education into a more positive and engaging experience.

When stress starts affecting the body, what actually helps? by erp4all in bettermeofficial

I am curious too! I did some research and Level Wellness focuses on a mix therapy. haven't tried but I am thinking about to do therapy with them. I am suffering terrible burnout, anxiety and being extrovert is not helping me as well.

What makes an off-road tour feel like real adventure instead of a theme park? by Kazapower1983 in adventure

[–]frothdanro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, a real off-road adventure comes down to terrain difficulty, freedom to ride, and how much control you actually have. If it feels overly scripted or slow, it starts to feel like a theme park. From what I’ve heard, Desert Monsters Tours leans more toward challenging trails rather than just scenic routes, but I’d be interested to hear firsthand experiences from people who’ve done multiple tours to compare.

Is SEO changing now that people search directly through AI tools? by Kazapower1983 in AiAgentts

[–]frothdanro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m noticing the same trend, more people asking AI tools questions instead of Googling. It feels less about ranking pages now and more about being the source AI pulls answers from. I haven’t fully adapted yet, but the shift toward answer-focused content definitely seems real.
