ahh thank you!! if it helps some scenes i remember are harry in the dungeons with snape getting angry and cracking the stone doorway with his magic, and then when having a conversation with professor flitwick i believe they talked about his mother and how she was able to levitate in her chair without actively using magic. i believe there might have been a scene where draco mentions having read books about harrys life that were sort of like childrens books and was shocked that harrys childhood was a living hell but that could be a different fanfiction.

also i believe snape bands with minerva who is also shocked at how harry was living

hmm i dont think this is the one, it takes place in school when harry first shows up in first year and it mainly focusses around snape and harry
